Good Morning Fellow Stampers -
It's the last day of the work week for me :-) Hard to believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I actually finished my Turkey project last night, so I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Now to get everything done that I need to do to get ready for my own festivities!
Today is my final installment of the November SplitCoastStampers Creative Crew Design Team challenges. It's almost time for December, and I have a lot of work to do - LOL :-) Good thing it's a 4-day weekend is all I can say!!!
Our final challenge for folks this month was a memorykeeping spread. I've been doing more and more playing with the new Project Life by Stampin' Up! products, and I'm really enjoying this method of memorykeeping.
I created two spreads that actually lie next to each other in my album; they each have a distinctive color scheme and compliment the pictures that are used.
My first vignette holds to the traditional colors of red and green. I love the ease of the Project Life card packs, and all the cute little accessories like stickers and sequins that help you make your spread a little "stepped up" if you want. I decided later after I finished this spread for the CCDT that I want to add some cute cutouts to the red snowflakes and green stripe pockets -- making them more of a background rather than a focal pop. Doing this is so easy with the fabulous Project Life stamp sets and framelits.
My second spread was done in the cool colors of blue -- primarily our fabulous new Lost Lagoon shade that I love so much this season. The coloring works perfectly for the pictures I chose here -- especially my mountain snow scene :-)
And yes, every single one of these fabulous "cards" is in the December Project Life pack -- along with the fabulous sequins. I just love this set of cards. I also love the ease of the photo pocket pages and the quick assembling. It makes memorykeeping so easy and fun; especially for those of us that are used to the traditional method of scrapbooking with the beautiful heavily embellished pages.
Now it's your turn! Hop over to the November Gallery, check out all the great inspiration the Creative Crew Design Team has for you; then create a design of your own, following this weeks challenge guidelines, and submit it to the Gallery to share with all of us :-)
CCREW1114SF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM - Scrapbook and More Focus: Project Life! Show us what you can do with any of our Project Life products. If you don't have any Project Life supplies, create a quick and easy page in the Project Life style.
I hope you have enjoyed my design today. I'd love to hear comments :-) Won't tell me what you think? As always, if you have any questions regarding my designs, I'm only an email away -- drop me a line :-)
