Good Morning Fellow Stampers -
Happy Hump Day :-) I think we need a camel -- LOL ;-) How is everyone doing today? Wednesdays are my busiest day at work, meetings from 8:00 straight through back-to-back to the end of the day. It's craziness!! Makes me happy to get home by the end of the day. Even better -- when I get home today, I should have a box waiting, left by Mr. Brown from my favorite company ;-) heehee
It's time for me to reveal my Top Ten Favorite Products from the Spring 2015 Occasions Catalog. This catalog is so incredibly awesome, that it really is hard to whittle it down to just a list of ten -- but I have given it the old college try.
We'll use the David Letterman style here, and start at number 10 and work our way up to number 1 :-) So, when the snow bites, when the sleet stings, and I'm snug at home -- these are a few of my favorite things :-)
10. Something Borrowed Embellishments -- these embellishments sparkle like nobody's business!! Must have :-)
9. Artisan Embellishment Kit -- this kit speaks to the Vintage and Victorian in me; there are a lot of possibilities with this kit, including using the beautiful cutout as a stencil for sponging and spritzing.
8. Bow Builder Punch -- I adore punches -- and there is definitely something to adore here!! Cute as a button; so easy to assemble; the perfect topper or embellishment for just about anything - and so many options for papers and combinations :-) Give it a try!
7. From The Herd -- the minute I saw this stamp at our Catalog Premier event in December, I just knew I had to have it!!! It is beyond hilarious and so much fun!!! And hey, you can feel like a kid again -- just color INSIDE the lines!!! LOL :-)
6. Celebrate Today with coordinating Balloon Framelits die set - I am loving ALL our new birthday sets actually; but this one stands out just a step above with all its versatility and of course the fact that it has a matching framelit set to go with it. I love anything that makes our life easier; check out the fabulous cupcake toppers sample in the catalog ;-)
5. Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit -- ahhhhhhhh -- organizing solutions! I love 'em!! I've been trying to figure out a way for 2 years to better track all the birthdays in my life (I have over 13 cousins, and with marriages and babies, etc., etc, the family is growing). When I saw this, I knew my dream had come true!! And it is so easy to put together and give it your own style. I'm very excited to get my "birthday" act together this year :-) Hint: Check out the coordinating stamp set -- it's fabulous!!!
4. Build-A-Bouquet Kit -- Oh my -- is it possible to be in love with paper ?? If so, this is it!!! And it was "at first sight" LOL :-) I'm looking forward to giving this class this spring -- when we're yearning for warmer weather, spring rains, and we're tired of cold and snow -- we'll sit and make these beautiful flower bouquets :-) Again, with a coordinating stamp set to give all the texture and depth to your petals. Even better -- a coordinating steel die so you can make flowers to your heart's content after the kit has been used up :-)
3. Sheltering Tree -- this stamp set is truly to die for!! I can hardly wait to find the time to just sit down and really "play" with this stamp set. It is so beautiful, and works for all seasons and occasions of the years. I love the 2-step stamping process and how beautiful the results are. There's a reason it's in my top 3 :)
2. Painted Blooms DSP - It's hard to pick just one thing from the beautiful, absolutely gorgeous Painted Petals Suite -- but if you're going to force my hand, I'd have to take the designer series paper! OMG! That's all I can say!! There are no words for how gorgeous this paper pack is! We're going to be hoarding this one for a while I think ;-)
Yup -- one of these sheets is so perfect, all you have to do is frame it :)
1. Drum Roll Please -- my #1 pick from the 2015 Spring Occasions Catalog is . . . Butterfly Thinlets Dies!!! OMG! With all the beautiful beautiful butterfly framelits out there on the market (eg. Martha Stewart), we've been salivating at Stampin' Up! for some time wishing we had some of our own! Here they are - and they are to die for!!! Absolutely stunning. And not as hard to work with as you might think, if you just follow a few easy steps when running them through your Big Shot -- I'll be giving some tips on these in the weeks to come, so stay tuned :) Bundle these with the coordinating stamp set, and you have a fabulous collection to design some pretty spectacular cards and project.
Now, like I said -- it's rather difficult to narrow this down to just ten items I love from this catalog. So here is a supplemental list of some other items that I think are pretty fabulous and you should definitely snag in the months to come :)
- Stacked With Love DSP Stack
- Confetti Hearts Border Punch
- Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- Chalkboard Paper & the new Colorbox Chalk Inks
- Indescribable Gift stamp set
And My Number One Pick from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog ??? Yup -- you MUST get the Lotus Blossom stamp set. Remember, you can only acquire this fabulous set with a minimum $50 qualifying order.
Well -- I think that's it for now :) If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me. I'd love to hear what your top picks from the catalog are. Won't you leave me a comment today, and let me know what you think? Please share with all of us !!
Have a Fabulous Day Everyone!!!
Until Next Time . . .
