Hello Fellow Stampers -
Happy Thursday! I'm coming to you a little later than I planned today; I was not quite ready with my planned items for this post, and I had to take time out today to have a root canal redone with the Endodontist Specialist. Needless to say, it has not been a real swell day for me!! We did confirm today, after nearly 10 days of due diligence and trying to determine the best course of action, that a specific canal on a tooth that had been root canaled 4 years ago, had indeed failed, and is what has been giving me so much sensitivity and pain for the past 3 months. I am hopeful after today's surgery and work that things will start to improve now. I have definitely not felt well for awhile now. I can tell you that today was rather traumatic for my poor tooth; it is quite painful and sore this evening.
I am, however, determined to get this post out and at least try to enjoy part of my day :-)
I had been planning all week on bringing you all a little Product Focus today on the fabulous new Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit. This kit is fun, easy, and allows you all the creativity you want right at your fingertips :-) I think the other nice perk to this kit is the beautiful way it is packaged, and the card they include so that all you have to do is tie a ribbon around the box, attach the card, and you have a wonderful gift to give someone (see photo above). This would be a fabulous gift to give a friend!
Here is a look at what all is in the kit for creating your Perpetual Calendar. Note: The stamp set is not a part of the kit.
The Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set is created to coordinate with your kit. What I think is so fabulous about this stamp set is how useful it is for so many other projects. This set would be great to use in your memorykeeping projects as well.
These are your blank calendar pages in your kit. Be sure you pay attention to how many days belong in a month. You don't want to end up with a 28-day page for October ;-)
The stamp pads suggested be used for this project include Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Crisp Canteloupe, Strawberry Slush, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie. I also slipped in Mossy Meadow -- and I think Night of Navy would be a fabulous color to use for July (although I did not do so for my set).
I'm just going to give you a couple peaks as how my pages turned out. This really is a fun project!!
Technique Tip: If your little sticky-backed letters included in the kit don't want to stick for some reason (especially on the glitter paper), just add a little bit of Tombow Multipurpose glue! Hold them down for a few seconds, and they'll stay in place! :-)
The fun of a Perpetual Calendar is that is can be used year after year because it's not "tagged" to one specific year.
I am really looking forward to having this organizational tool. I have not been keeping track of the birthdays in my life and extended family very well (I have 13 cousins and growing families) - so I think this is going to help me a lot!
Let's check out the Video Stampin' Up! made for us on this project :-)
I hope you have enjoyed this Product Focus today. Let me know if I can help you get a Perpetual Birthday Calendar kit ordered. I'd be thrilled to be your Demonstrator of choice!!
Until Next Time . . .
