Howdy Fellow Stampers -
So here we are on a Sunday evening, and it's just been kind of crazy the past couple days. I haven't felt well this last week; fighting one of these cough things going around. So I let Friday's post go; then it was time for class and Paper Pumpkin club here yesterday; and before you know it, here we are on Sunday evening. Hard to believe.
So let's do a little catchup today :-) Before we miss the deadline, it is time for the Mojo Monday [MOJO411] challenge for this week. And time for another Sneak Peak of the upcoming Holiday catalog :-) I'm lovin' it -- I know you are going to too!
Doggone Delightful Stampin' Design Tips:
- Layerothology. This card is cut from Very Vanilla cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/4", scored at 4 1/4", with a layer of Basic Black, and Very Vanilla for the card front. The Very Vanilla top layer is embossed with the new Woodlands textured impressions embossing folder; which has then been gently sponged with Smoky Slate to bring out the really cool tree trunks and branches in this beautiful new embossing folder. Then, if you look carefully, you will see some spooky eyes have been stamped among the trees using the brand new Among the Branches stamp set, and the new Basic Black archival ink.
- Spooky. The new Among the Branches stamp set is versatile among all the Fall and early Winter holidays; I chose this sentiment for today's design, against a background of the new Happy Haunting DSP. This new set of paper is really fabulous for both Fall and Halloween creations. If you look closely, you can see that I stamped several images from the new Among the Branches stamp set, and then fussy cut them out. They are popped with the focal circle. Don't forget those pearls. I think they make they owl like real spooky :-)
You'll also see a sneak peak of our new Halloween doilies laid at the base of the card. I am in love with these new doilies.
