Good Morning Fellow Stampers -
Happy Monday! How is everyone as we start off this new week? I had a busy but very productive weekend I'm glad to say. I even finally found my way back to my sewing machine this weekend, and I'm excited about that! I'm hoping to get a much better handle on my holiday gift sewing before November gets away from me. We shall see how it goes!
It's Paper Players [PP270] challenge time -- a beautiful color combination challenge this week. It was perfect for what I wanted to do - leaving out the "one Color of my choice" for this design. I wanted something very elegant and very striking, and Black, White and Gold are definitely the combination for that! Here we go -- let's create! 😃
If you have not yet invested in the new Delicate Ornaments thinlet dies, and the Embellished Ornaments stamp set, you are missing out on a beautiful set with so many possibilities. If you saw my Card Design a couple weeks ago with this set, you saw me use elements of the stamp set and die set to create a wonderful card in silver and blue. Over this past weekend, I held my annual ornament class and shared with my customers several different ways to use the dies to create some lovely ornaments for this upcoming holiday season.
Today's ornament combines use of both the stamp set and the die set to create a multi-level 3D ornament. In this selection of colors, it truly is just Elegant!
Lots of hot glue is needed here -- LOL; and our wonderful Fine Tip Glue Pen as well. The base for this ornament is created with a 2 1/2" circle, and a scalloped strip of Whisper White Paper, cute 2 1/2" x 11" (you need two of these put together to got around the circumference of the 2 1/2" circle). Score using your Simply Scored, ever 1/2"; punch the edge of the strip with the Confetti Stars border punch, and then touch the edge through the Versamark pad before dusting it with Gold embossing powder. Once the powder is set, you can make your fan fold and hot glue the strip around the circle. With base in place, you can begin building each layer of the various ornaments.
The stamped ornament is stamped with the retired Encore Gold Metallic ink; the black ornament has been tipped with Gold Dazzling Details glue glitter; the top rosette is done in Basic Black, 1/2" wide x 11" long, scored every 1/2". Topped with a Gold Glimmer "flower" from the die set, and some of my favorite requisite pearls, this ornament oozes the elegance I was seeking. I love it from the gold tipped edges to the intricate ornaments. You will love it too!! I hope you'll give it at try!
As always, I'm only an email away should have any questions about any of my designs, or need assistance with anything Stampin' Up! - [email protected] Looking for a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator? I'd be honored to be your choice.
We flying into the holiday season full speed ahead here -- we'll be showcasing lots of fun Christmas related- items in the days to come, so stay tuned!

Until Next Time . . .
