Nine Days until Christmas!! Can you believe that one? I am amazed at how quickly this Fall has flown right by us. In a couple days we will officially leave Fall behind us and the Winter equinox and season will begin. Considering the 14 inches of snow lying outside my front door right now, I'd say the Winter season has already begun -- LOL. It was Freeeeeeeeeeezing this morning when we headed off to work.
Today I want to bring you what I hope is a fun and quick ornament tutorial. Since my Delicate Snowflake Ornaments tutorial video a couple of weeks ago, I've had a number of questions about the more intricate ornaments briefly seen in that video. The more complicated ornaments were actually part of my Annual Ornament Class a month ago. I consider several of these ornaments too complicated to fit into a tutorial -- they have a lot of pieces, and take a great deal of time to put together. That class is an all day class and the one ornament in particular took about 3 hours to put together. I'm not sure exactly how I'd fit that into a video. I'm still contemplating that one.
I did decide, however, to take one of the simpler "delicate" ornaments and showcase it briefly today. I hope this tutorial will be helpful to you and that you'll give these a try before our Christmas holiday is upon us. I'm pleased that this die set and coordinating stamp set are carrying forward into next year; this will allow us to play and enjoy for the months ahead! So maybe you can play with this at a little more leisure after Christmas is behind us. At any rate, I've tried to include the supply list for the several different ornaments you see in this tutorial below. I used a number of our different glimmer papers, which I just love. The couple of items that I use or talk about in this video that are not Stampin' Up! include baby wipes, and a hot glue gun.
