Good Morning Fellow Stampers -
Happy Thursday! Our countdown to Christmas continues -- and my countdown to my holiday break is officially down to hours -- as of the release of this blog post, I will have about 14 hours until I can turn out the lights at my desk, pack up the computer, push in the chair at the desk, make sure all the plants are nicely watered, and wave goodbye for 17 days!! Whooo Hoooo -- I'm so excited. Tomorrow morning I'm going to enjoy getting up at my leisure and not having to rush around getting ready for work!
Today I thought we'd have a little fun -- some fun with "antlers" that is!! LOL I'm sure many of you have looked at the antler image in the beautiful Wonderland stamp set with curiosity -- what on earth to do with those!!
And guess what! Those antlers are in the Winter Wonderland specialty designer papers and vellums too!! What to do! What to do!! LOL Guess what -- those antlers, are VERY On Trend this year!! Just do a search on Pinterest, and you'll be very surprised!!!
I have actually seen some really cute designs with that antler image from the Wonderland stamp set. We'll hopefully talk about that some more this next week. Today, I just want to share with you some cute, easy, quick tags you can make to dress up your packages this next week.
LOL -- aren't these fun?? These cute little tags are so easy to put together -- in almost a snap! Cut tags 2" x 4 1/4"; punch the top with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch; stamp the background with the beautiful pine branch image from the stamp set in Always Artichoke (stamped off once first); then stamp the antlers in Early Espresso. Attach a "nose" using a pom-pom from the Real Red Pom-Pom Trim and some Multi-Purpose Glue. I created eyes with the smaller Very Vanilla enamel dots in the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots collection, and a black sharpie marker (creating an "eye" in the center of each enamel dot).
The "Jolly" is cut using the Christmas Greetings Thinlets dies, and Champagne Glimmer Paper; attached with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Final touch is some Metallic Gold Bakers Twine pulled through the top hole -- wah la!! How fun, cute, and easy is that!!!
Now go play! -- I command you!! LOL
Have a fabulous Thursday everyone! Wishing you a fabulous crafty day!
Until Next Time . . .
