Good Morning Fellow Stampers!!
Happy Monday! We're are getting back on schedule here at DDS Studios as we kick off the New Year, a new month, and a new catalog! Yes, we are within hours now of the new 2016 Spring Occasions catalog going live for all of you wonderful stampers, and I'm getting excited!! I finally have broken out the new products and have started playing - we have some really fabulous new products on deck and I just know you are going to love them! I've got enough of my Studio put together to be functioning again. I've still got organization work to do; and a number of pieces are still be put together or are still outstanding (haven't arrived yet or still need to be ordered). But I have enough back in place to be up and functioning and I'm excited about how things have been coming together. It was nice to sit and work at my brand new work table island last evening. It all feels so nice and fresh and new!! ;-)
It's Monday, and that means it's time for the Paper Players weekly [PP276] challenge. PP is back up and running after a nice holiday break; and so let's get off and running with some new products today and some fun! I combined this week's PP challenge with the fun color challenge over at Can You Case It [CYCI#101]. I thought maybe we'd kick things off this week with a little New Year's Celebration -- let's go check it out!
Doggone Delightful Stampin' Design Tips:
- Layerothology. This card is cut from Very Vanilla cardstock, 4 1/4" x 11, scored at 5 1/2" - a vertical top fold card. I used a piece of brand new Sale-a-Bration paper called Perfectly Artistic, matted with Rich Razzleberry as my background. Don't forget that this beautiful DSP can be yours with a minimum $50 order, beginning Tuesday morning. I then created an Oval from Very Vanilla, and backed it with a Silver Metallic Doily for a little sparkle and dainty elegance mixed in.
- Balloon Celebration With Large Number Framelits! Oh I'm having fun with all these fabulous new products. I mixed three new items for the fun front of this card. First is the new Balloon Celebration stamp set. What a ball this set is going to be. I love that it has the new Balloon Bouquet punch to punch those fabulous little balloons out with. The great Gold Foil numbers are cut using the brand new Large Number Framelits! Don't you love the font and size of these numbers?! The little "Let Us Celebrate" near the bottom was fussy cut to the shape I wanted and popped with a dimensional that's been cut in half.
- Turn to the Inside. I finished off the inside of this card with a fabulous sentiment from the Balloon Celebration stamp set, and embellished it with a bunch more fun balloons! Now how cute is that!! :-) LOL I love it!
