Good Morning Fellow Stampers !
How is everyone this fine Saturday? It looks like we're finally going to warm up here today in Colorado. We've been in the teens and twenties for over a week; and frankly I'm ready for some warmth; and I think Miss Sadie is more than ready for a walk!! ;-) Hoping to head out this afternoon -- I need a break from all the goings on here with the makeover of the Studio.
We've been incredibly busy here the past couple days, as you can see! And you can see how my little helper is doing - or not doing -- in helping me with this huge project!! LOL I'll talk more this next week about the Studio makeover -- and bring you up-to-date; things are moving along at a fairly good clip and I hope to be back in the room by tomorrow in a good enough state to at least start creating again. Everything is in boxes and all over the house, so I can't find anything right now -- LOL
Today will be busy with continued work in the room, and running errands. But I think we've come far enough along that I may be able to put my feet up a little bit this afternoon. A nap is sounding really good right now!! ;-)
In the meantime, I promised you my New Years morning brunch recipe -- I make this casserole every year, and it's absolutely excellent!
New Year's Brunch Casserole
Ingredients:
10 slices of bread - crustless & cut into small pieces
1 1/2 lbs. sausage - browned
2 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
6 eggs
3 c. milk
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 tsp dry onion
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp chopped parsley
1/4 c. shredded parmesian cheese
1/2 c. milk
Beat eggs; add onion, mustard, & milk. Mix the Cream of Mushroom soup separately with the parsley. Layer in a 9" x 12" casserole baking dish as follows: bread pieces, browned sausage, cheese, egg mixture, soup mixture (spread the soup with a spatula evenly over surface). Then combine the parmesian cheese with the milk and pour over the top of the layers. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees the next morning for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
It's fabulous!! :-) Give it a try!
Did you know my Spring Shares Program went live this past Wednesday? You don't want to miss out!
Why participate in shares? Shares are a way to sample the new Designer Series Papers, Ribbons, and Embellishments at a fraction of what it would cost you to purchase all of them yourself. And the nice thing is I do all the ordering, cutting, counting and re-packaging for you!
Check Out the Details! Click HERE to check out all the details of the Spring Shares -- and email me today to get signed up!! I'm ordering the first round of shares this next week!! :-)
