It's Friday!! Unfortunately, it's a working Friday for me today; and I'm quite tired after an exhausting HOA meeting last evening, and a long busy week. I'm thinking of taking the afternoon off today so that I can get home and get some other things done. I'll probably need a nap -- LOL
It's Mojo Monday [MOJO435] challenge time. I have cute little design for you today using one of the brand new Limited Edition Sale-A-Bration stamp sets that was just released on Tuesday! I love this cute set! Let's take a look ~
Doggone Delightful Stampin' Design Tips:
- Layerothology. This card base is cut from Basic Black cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". The layering to this card is kind of fun and different; the background layers are Whisper White and Daffodil Delight. The mid-layer is actually 2 created panels using the It's My Party DSP and Melon Mambo cardstock (measurements of the DSP are 2" x 4", with the Melon Mambo measuring 2 1/4" x 4"). It's a fun bright party-style look!
- Party Pants. This little set is just so adorable -- I just think it's beyond cute!! LOL And an even cooler tip? The balloon in this set coordinates and works with the new Balloon Bouquet punch! Now how fabulous is that?! That just gives us one more stamp set to go with our new punch! I had a ton of fun creating these little balloons with their fun messages -- all from the new stamp set! I stamped the three balloons directly on the center panel, using a little creative masking; I created a separate balloon "bouquet" which I punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch. I then embossed one of the balloons with the new Confetti TIEF. The two balloons are tied with fun new two-tone baker's twine (this in a Melon Mambo/Basic Black combination), and then popped with dimensionals. The piece is finished off with enamel dots from the new It's My Party enamel dots collection.
I think this is a fun, bright, cheery Birthday card. Simple enough to whip together, but detailed enough to wow your friends and neighbors! LOL
