Well Good Morning Fellow Stampers :-)
How is everyone this wonderful Hump Day? I was so excited about my September Paper Pumpkin kit (that came late for me this month -- grrrr), that I just had to sit down and play; and share some sweet PP fun with you all!! I have the treat of being a member of a wonderful private PP Group that shares all kinds of "alternate" ideas for these fabulous kits, and one idea shared by Donna Kish just resonated with me, and I absolutely HAD to go run with this idea she had. So here we go all :-)
Now how fun is this?? :-) Eeeeek -- little test tube holders -- Puuuuurrrfect!!!
So how'd you do that you ask? Well, let me tell you all about these cute box collections (what a perfect little gift)!!
Those brand new 3" x 3" x 3" white gift boxes on page 7 of the 2016 Holiday Occasions catalog are absolutely the perfect size for this project! They come with a plastic sleeve that goes around the outside, and so you can decorate any way you want, because you can protect your artwork.
These holes are punched with the 3/4" circle punch in the lid of the box; and I just eyeballed the line-up using the edge of the box and a "line" I created visually on the bottom of the punch.
Use a little of your Pool Party Paper Pumpkin tissue paper on the bottom to help stabilize your test tubes.
I used Petals & Paisleys SDSP on this fun little box (2 7/8" x 2 7/8" pieces by the way; and this means you can get 4 out of a 6" x 6" piece of DSP).
My test tubes are filled with some pretty bath salts.
And I used the cute tags and the adorable stamp set from the kit to create these cute tags.
I used the 1/16" handheld punch to punch little holes for my linen thread to slide through, and tied them right on!
So easy, but what a fabulous WOW gift for a friend!
I used the Blossom Bunch Punch and some more of the Petals & Paisleys SDSP to create cute little flower stems to add to my gift.
I pulled out leftover wire from last year's flower kit, and added leaves cut from Old Olive cardstock using the Rose Garden Thinlits Die. [Pull out those glue dots to secure everything together!]
Halloween Night Enamel Dots create perfect flower centers!
So cute, huh?? :-)
Turning to a Halloween theme, these cute little box uses Halloween Night SDSP.
Some bricks on opposing sides; and cute haunted houses scenes on the other opposing sides.
Test tubes filled with fun little chocolate candies; and each tag is different on this little set - each one unique.
I added Mini Tassels, Halloween Night Enamel Dots and Baker's Twine, and some fun stamping on the tags.
And just for fun . . . ;-) 3 test tubes are gray and black; and one pops with orange and black!
I just love this little set -- heeeheeee . . . .
