Good Morning Fellow Stampers -
Howdy Howdy!! Well, my apologies! This past weekend and this week have not exactly gone the way I thought it would. I had great plans for my video tutorial yesterday on the Z-Box Fold card; and it hasn't come to fruition yet. There have been some distractions that have pulled me away from my plans. Sometimes there are more important things than ink, paper and stamps! Ohp! I cannot believe I said that! Hard to believe, but yes it's true. Sometimes we have to tend to more important tasks than playing and being creative. At any rate, please bear with me. The tutorial is in the works and I'll have to you hopefully very shortly.
In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to start sharing a little bit of my fun planned for my Tagology class this coming Saturday. I'm loving these new stamp sets and framelit sets. There is so much you can create with these, and I'm really looking forward to the holidays and decorating my gifts with these fun little embellishments. It's like having a "mini card" in every little tag ;-)
There are basically two main die sets, and approximately three stamp sets that lend themselves to tag creation for your packaging and gift giving this holiday season.
I'm showcasing the two die sets and one of the stamp sets in today's showcase.
This includes the adorable Merriest Wishes stamp set.
and these cute little Merry Tags Framelits coordinate with that stamp set.
These dies are perfect for tags and for ornaments.
I showcase the tree out of the one framelit tonight - and believe it or not I fussy cut that cute little tree after I ran it through the Big Shot.
Today's Tagology features primarily these wonderful dies -- the Cheerful Tags Thinlits
I am "in love!" These are so cute, so easy to use - one is a folded tag with a hole for your ribbon or cording; the other is specifically for use with a wine bottle or bubbly!!
And then you have several smaller tag options as well with this set.
How fun is that?! :-)
I had a blast creating these 3 adorable tags.
These two use the larger foldable tag. Here you can see where I fussy cut the tree from the Merry Tags - one I cut from Pear Pizzaz cardstock, and the other I cut from Gold foil.
They're a little delicate so you have to be careful when cutting; but they are so cool! I attached them with Fine-Tip Glue.
The tag on the left uses our new Kraft Rope Trim and has a Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzaz color combination against Very Vanilla.
The tag on the right has a cute little tassle I created with the Cherry Cobbler twine in the Baker's Twine Trio set, and uses a Sweet Sugarplum, Cherry Cobbler, and Cucumber Crush color combination with Whisper White and Gold Accents.
This tag is cut from Crumb Cake cardstock and is perfect for that bottle of bubbly for your party hostess.
It features the fabulous Merriest Wishes stamp set, and also uses the Duet Banners punch to create the fun sentiment banner.
I'm using Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, and Crumb Cake with Whisper White on this combination. What fun and luscious color combos for this holiday season ;-)
Now, for some added extra incentive and to help you get a closer look at these thinlits, here's a fabulous tutorial video from Stampin' Up! :-)
I hope you had fun seeing some of the fun projects my stampers will be playing with at the Tagology class this coming Saturday. Have you snagged these fabulous products yet? If not, be sure to stop in my Online Store and fill up your basket with all the goodies today :)
