Good Morning Fellow Stampers :-)
Whew! It looks like I'm going to rush right out of November into December. I'm frantically trying to get caught up and wrap my arms around everything that needs to get done around here, that didn't get done over the long Thanksgiving weekend, and try to a place of feeling like I'm not "behind" - eeeeeek! We finally got the outdoor decorations up and in place over Monday and Tuesday evenings. I've been sewing on my brother's denim blanket quilt since Sunday morning, I'm working like crazy to get ready for the final stamping class of the Fall/Holiday season this coming Saturday (can you believe that one!!), and it's time to start pre-order for the 2017 Spring Occasions Catalog -- O M G!!! That's about all I can say ;-) I'm hoping to have the Christmas tree up and decorated by Friday evening; and we're kicking off the season in style on Thursday evening -- December 1st, -- Mike and I are heading off for an evening at the theatre, and a little bit of the traditional "A Christmas Carol" -- I'm really so excited about that one!! :-) So I'll definitely keep you posted on all the fun around here!!
Saturday is the final class of the Fall/Holiday season this year -- can you believe that one?? I'm a little bit in shock at how fast this has gone since our beautiful catalog released the first of September. It seems like just yesterday I was placing my pre-order and making plans for all the fun!!
I'm sneak-peaking my "showcase ornament" for this year's class. I don't want to give away too much to my local class attendees, since I know they follow the blog; but I am so excited and over the moon about this ornament I can just hardly contain myself :-)
It showcases the Home Sweet Home Thinlits, and I had an absolute ball creating this little "gingerbread" house; and now that it's done, I thought of all kinds of other things I could do to it, so now I'm ready to make the next one -- LOL.
But really, the piece de resistance of this whole project is when it becomes something to hang on your tree or wherever you would like :-)
Isn't that fun??!! :-) Whooo hooooooo
I'm not even going to admit that I snuck a few marshmallows while I was making this -- LOL
My gals are going to have so much fun Saturday afternoon making "gingerbread" houses, shaking marshmallows everywhere, oh and lots and lots of glitter of course -- LOL
I can't imagine if you haven't snapped up these fun little thinlits and the coordinating stamp set yet; but if you haven't, now is a really fabulous time to do it! Just hop on over to my Online Store and pick up the bundle (a 10% savings over buying the items separately). You will have more fun than the law allows I can assure you -- LOL. And I found it really relaxing to sit and play while watching my favorite show on TV. Really therapeutic. I think I will be making several more of these for Christmas gifts -- Yup, lots to do yet before December 24th ;-)
Until Next Time . . .
