Good Morning Fellow Stampers :-)
Howdy Howdy!! Busy week here -- how about you?? I am prepping like crazy for my Annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack on Saturday; I'm so excited about this fabulous group of stampers joining me and the cards I have for them to make. They will be very busy, I can assure you!! LOL By the time they all leave at the end of the day, they will have 25 fabulous Christmas cards made to kick-start their Christmas season of crafting and cardmaking.
In the meantime, I promised a video to follow up last week's little tutorial on the Z-Box Fold, and here it is!! It's short and sweet, but sometimes seeing something visually makes all the difference for some folks to be able to cement it in the brain and be able to actually do it. So I sincerely hope this is helpful and that you'll be that much more ready to jump in and give this fabulous and fun "fancy fold" (as I call them) a try!
[I apologize in advance for the quality of this video; I was not happy once everything was done with how it turned out - may require a redo!!]
You can see the measurements, and all the panel and strip measurement at Last Week's Post - so click and check it out if you missed those.
Now - I alluded to sharing one of my stamper's design she created with this fold after the tutorial I put up last week. You are absolutely going to adore this, I promise!!
This wonderful magical card was designed by a member of my stamping group here in Littleton, Trish McDaniel.
How fabulously creative is that??
Notice how she used our Limited Edition bundle, Thoughtful Branches from this past August? I love it!!!!
I think this is so adorably cute - and I hope it inspires you!!! It's a great use of the Z-Box fold.
Now this card that I showed you for the first time last week.
It uses our new Santa's Sleigh Thinlits dies, and the coordinating Santa's Sleigh stamp set. I used a classic Navy and White color scheme with Silver accents that includes both Silver Glimmer and Silver Foil papers. I used both the back of the card, as well as the Z-Box portion to attach my elements and create my scene. Each reindeer has a bell tied tied with Silver Metallic ribbon around its neck (that was NOT easy) -- LOL :-)
Alright, enough fun for today. I'm off to my real job! I hope you don't mind how poorly the video turned out, and that you go have some fun!! Have a great Wednesday everyone!!
Until Next Time . . .
