Good Morning Fellow Stampers! Happy Hump Day!
And welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for January 2017 ~~ the first blog hop of the year!! And I'm just very excited about the year ahead; starting off with this month's projects which showcase themes that are “from the heart.” Today you will see project that encompass themes from Valentine’s Day, Thinking of You, and Get Well to Sympathy. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and inspiration to create "from the heart."
You may just be starting the Blog Hop, or you may have just come from Amy Hoptay at Craft Carnivore. Wherever you're popping in from, you can follow the full line-up from the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below ~~ you'll never get lost! ;-)
As those who follow me regularly know, I always try to do something extra special for our monthly blog hops; and I'm hoping today's project is no different. I've been over the moon for the entire Sending Love Suite in the new Spring Occasions Catalog - and today's project centers around all the goodies you can find on pages 14 and 15 of the catalog.
I decided to create a special notecard collection and a special little box for them to nestle in.
What a perfect little gift for someone special!
This little box is so easy to make using your Envelope Punch Board. Stay tuned next week as I'll be sharing an easy little tutorial on how to make this box.
I used my favorite "go-to" to create this card collection - the Whisper White Notecards & matching envelopes set. These make creating little notecards so easy!
These fold to a 5" x 3 1/2" size, and are absolutely perfect for a nice little note to a friend or your sweetie!!
I made a set of 4 cards for this collection; but you could fit up to six cards in this cute little box.
Everything in this collection was created using the Sending Love DSP Stack, the Love Notes Framelits dies, and the Sealed With Love stamp set, along with various ribbons, embellishments and accessories.
I think I had more fun than the law should allow last Sunday afternoon just playing away :-)
For the most part I stuck to the Real Red and Whisper White color theme; but I slipped in a few "pop" colors here and there like Basic Black, Blushing Bride, and Melon Mambo for some change up and interest to the entire theme.
Have you checked out this framelit collection yet? O M G!! They are so cute and so much fun!!!
I hope you have enjoyed today's "from the heart" project. I hope you feel inspired; and are looking forward to next week's how to video on making this easy Envelope Punch Board box. Thanks for visiting with me today!! You are the "heart" of my business and I appreciate you!! The next stop on the blog hop is Staci Rivera at Clever Bow Tie Designs. And remember, you can check the list below to hop on anywhere you want!!
