Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~
Well, I am feeling the call of April, Spring, and Easter! Each year (2014, 2015, 2016) I like to come up with a cute Easter "basket" idea of some sort . . . I'm always on the hunt for what seems to be trending. My first basket several years back was a big hit ~~ and is still getting pinned and re-pinned on Pinterest today. Amazing, isn't it?
So, for my Change-Up Thursday project this week, I'm playing with the new Basket Bunch Bundle somemore, and created this cutest of cute, teeny tiny little Easter baskets -- perfect for some jelly beans - even a little table setting favor at your Easter dinner table; and since I haven't actually been down the Easter candy aisle yet, I'll have to pop over to the store to fill it up later !! LOL :-)
So I'm going to step you through a quick little tutorial today to put together this simple little basket.
You're going to need the Basket Builder Framelits
You will cut two of the solid basket piece; 2 of the latticed piece; and 2 handles.
Then cut little piece of cardstock measuring 1-1/2" x 2-3/4"
Score along the long edge at 3/4" and 2"
and along the short edge at 1/4" and 1-1/4"
fold on your score lines, and snip a notch at each spot where the score lines cross
Now fold and glue your sides with a little multi-purpose glue
Glue the lattice overlay to the solid basket piece with a little multi-purpose glue; or you can use your Fine-Tip Glue Pen
Now attach your little basket "fronts" to each side of your little box you created, aligning the top of the box with the top edge of the basket front - in other words, you're going to let the bottom edge stick down, kind of like "feet"
Then you can attach the handles on the inside edges with glue dots (or your favorite glue)
And wah laaaa -- you have a cute little basket all ready to decorate and play with!
Which the Basket Builder Framelits have everything you can imagine to make that happen!
I had so much fun with this little basket.
Perfect little eggs, just for Easter . . .
