Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~
Today we gather together to spend time with family, friends, and loved ones; to say thank you, and share what we are grateful and thankful for over this past year. How quickly 2017 has flown by; how many difficulties have come our way. How much more do we have to be grateful for!
And so, today's CASE-Out is my "Thank You" to all of YOU, my faithful followers, customers, and friends! Thank you for a wonderful year together; thank you for your support; thank you for "lurking" each day to see what I'm up to here at DDS Studios; and thank you for even pausing to leave a comment or share with me once in a while. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you! 🙂
Today we are CASEing (Copying and Selectively Editing) the beautiful project showcasing the Count My Blessings stamp set on page 51 of your Holiday Occasions Catalog. This will most likely be our last visit with the beautiful autumn product offerings from our catalog pages for 2017 - so let's enjoy this one last hurrah of this current Fall season together!!
Let's go dial the combination lock, open that suitcase, and see what's inside . . . .

"CASE-Out" Design Guide
1. Score your Thick Whisper White cardstock base at 4-1/4", and fold [Reminder: Fold "inward" on your bump - bump goes to the inside - to get that nice clean professional look]. Use your bone folder gently so as not to "crack" your cardstock.
2. The changes in our CASE today are in some additional layering, and a change to the sentiment and how it is presented. Take the curved vine leaf image from the Count My Blessings stamp set and stamp it all over the front of the 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White cardstock piece using Old Olive ink (I believe the sample in the catalog is in Pear Pizzazz, but chose Old Olive for today's CASE). Adhere this piece to your Old Olive mat and then to the front of your card base.
3. Place SNAIL in the center of your Vellum piece and center it on the front of the card.
4. Stamp the tulip image in the middle of the 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" Whisper White square in Old Olive ink; add the trailing floral image on either side (I think this looks like lavender 😉). Color the tulip flowers with Pumpkin Pie stampin' blends; the leaves of your images with Old Olive stampin' blends; and the little itty bitty flowers with Daffodil Delight stampin' blends.
5. Cut a Delicate White Doily into quarters, and adhere one of the quarters to the right-hand side (back side) of the Whisper White square. Then adhere this piece, offset, to the Old Olive square. SNAIL the entire layered piece to the front of your card, centered over the Vellum.
6. Stamp the sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set on Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and punch out with your Duet Banner punch. Because Painted Harvest is a photopolymer stamp set, it is easy to gently manipulate the sentiment into a slight curve to fit your banner punch shape. Pop the sentiment to the front with dimensionals
7. Separate the 3 strands of a length of Jute Twine and tie one of those strands into a bow. Attach to the card front with a glue dot.
8. Add sequins (I picked out the smaller ones) from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment using Fine-Tip Glue.
Wah lah!!! You are done! How pretty! 😄
And that's our CASE-Out this week! I hope you have enjoyed this and that you feel as thankful as I do for all the blessings in our lives. Miss Sadie Ann and I will be spending the day at Mike's home, hosting dinner for his two college boys, one of their girlfriends, his mom and one of his sisters. The table will be full and happy; and I am so looking forward to it. The weather is supposed to be in the low seventies today; just a gorgeous Colorado Fall day. Our hearts are full and there is much to be grateful for. I hope you can count the small blessings in your lives as well.
Miss Sadie and I will be back for a visit tomorrow - after the early Black Friday shopping -- LOL Many puppy hugs from our home to yours.
Until Next Time . . .
