Now let's take a look at a special Terrific Tuesdays project, showcasing my favorite bundle out of the Sale-a-Bration selections - Blossoming Basket Bundle. Now, I showcased this gorgeous set this past Sunday in the InkBig Blog Hop. Today, I'm going to show you an alternative, and using most of the stamps out of the stamp set.
Where as the design on Sunday used Foil and the "tarnished metal technique", today's design incorporates a vintage distressed look - and an alternative technique for the wonderful Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF.
I used Crumb Cake and Powder Pink cardstock choices today with Shimmery White for all the stamping portions.
I inked the embossing folder with Soft Suede ink before embossing the Crumb Cake cardstock - then added additional sponged Soft Suede around the edges. Don't you just love that look? Almost looks like a real basket!!
The layers are wrapped with 3/8" Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon before being added to the card base front.
Today's design incorporates the square Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Squares Framelits to create a fun background for the basket - and is popped with dimensionals on the card front.
Today's basket is colored the same as Sunday's, but the roses are done with Pink Pirouette and the lighter of the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.
I incorporated the wonderful leaf piece from the Petals & More Thinlits cut from Vellum layered behind the roses today - and added the adorable tag and the butterfly all from the stamp set.
The sweet sentiment is also from the Blossoming Basket stamp set, and is cut with the tag framelit from the Petals & More Thinlits. I slid it in behind the double bow and the snipped leaf from the basket - perfect!!
Clear Wink of Stella and a few pearls finish this sweet card off perfectly!!
