It's been awhile since we did the "creative" thing - so we are definitely long overdue, and it's time to start breaking out all the new goodies, on which I'm also long overdue!! Today was Pre-Order for all the demonstrators, and I have some incredible new goodies on their way -- so we'll be taking a look at all of that real soon too!!
I promised you yesterday that we would be starting to take a closer look at the new Share What You Love Suite of products - and I'm excited to have finally sat down and done a little playing.
Everything is just so amazing about this suite of products.
The designer series paper is gorgeous - with a pearlustre finish on the images that make them just shimmer.
The new doilies are also a pearlustre finish - and just are to die for!!
The color combinations in this paper are wonderful!
And I love the font in the Love What You Do stamp set.
And haven't you missed that Mint Macaron?? Yeah!! I love how perfectly Tranquil Tide blends with the Mint Macaron -- same color family for sure!!
So this card base was cut from Mint Macaron (I don't do a colored card base very often - and probably should more); the matting to the designer paper background is in Tranquil Tide - and then I laid an offset center layer with a different piece from the paper, and Whisper White to back it.
The center circle sentiment is stamped in Tranquil Tide - with a "stamp off" of the flowers in the background in Mint Macaron. It's cut with the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and offset with one of the new doilies before being popped on the card front.
What I love is the new little clips and twine in the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit - so sweet!!
