Hello Fellow Stampers ~~
Happy Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - LOL!! It's really flying right by us, isn't it? I had a "flurry" of a weekend, starting off with a mad-dash down to Florence for a surprise birthday party for Mike's sister; and ending with being elbow deep in cardstock prepping like mad for the Annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack coming up this next weekend! Crazy times indeed!
As we turn the corner this week out of October, it is time to kick off the upcoming holiday season, and Christmas projects galore!! I've been crazily working and designing in the Studio this weekend, and there are so many things I want to do, I don't know if I'll have enough time to do them all. But I'll share what I can, and we'll play as much as possible before the bell tolls at midnight in December!! Hang on, we're off to a wild ride indeed!

This card design features the largest of the snowflake dies in the Snowfall Thinlits Die set, cut from the new gorgeous White Velvet paper.
Set against a Black background, this card exudes elegance thru and thru.
I call it my Black Tie card!
I created a full Basic Black and Whisper White background layer; and then added a 2" x 4-1/2" inner layer to slightly offset.
This created some wonderful interest to the card. I love how this just came together so easily! (one of those I thought up in the shower -- LOL)
The layers were wrapped with Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon before being adhered to the Basic Black card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2")
With the snowflake popped on dimensionals, I added a Basic Black solid snowflake in the center (it exactly matches the center of the white snowflake), and embossed the "Joy" sentiment from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set in White emboss powder. A few pearls, and this gorgeous card exudes elegance from across the room!
The inside of the card is as simply beautiful as the outside - all done with the Snow Is Glistening stamp set, Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White - seems appropriate!!
