Hello Fabulous Fellow Stampers ~
Oh My Goodness!! I never planned on a whole week and a half to go flying past us since we last chatted. I had all sorts of plans and ideas; and as usual the "flurry" of the holidays is taking over!! Oh My! I am fully into the middle the Christmas decorating here at the house; and have my Christmas shopping almost complete!! Now that's a feat unto itself! Even bought my Christmas stamps today!! The earliest I've done that in years. If all goes well, maybe I'll be able to actually relax and enjoy closer to Christmas break!
Well, we'll make up for a little bit of lost time today with 3 projects at once - my final showcase of the Snowflake Showcase that is coming to an end today -- just a few hours left!!! If you did not get this bundle of products purchased yet, HURRY HURRY HURRY!! You have until midnight tonight (mountain time) to get yours ordered!!!
A few projects I've been wanting to play with for 2 weeks now!!
Better late than never, right?? LOL
All of today's project sport a CAS (Clean and Simple) look and feel. But the "wow" factor makes them anything but "simple" to the receiver!
This CAS design truly is "clean and simple" in Real Red and Whisper White - a "dashing" and striking look!
A Real Red mat layer, behind our Whisper White front panel.
A simple Whisper White snowflake cut with the medium snowflake die from the Snowfall Thinlits, and backed with the smallest square in the Stitched Shapes Framelits - then popped with dimensionals.
Did you notice I added one of the Snowflake Trinkets in the center? And that I colored the little gemstone in the center with a Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend? -- The perfect touch!!
Stamp the "Joy" from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set in Real Red; color a few Basic Pearls with the Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend, to make it look like an ellipses . . . and you have the perfect card front 😉
Finish off the inside of the card to echo the front - this sweet sentiment is from the Filigree Flourish stamp set.
This card project sports Blueberry Bushel with Whisper White - I love the deep bright blue against the white!!
And we're showcasing the Eclipse Technique in this project today!
And if you were lucky enough to snag some of that gorgeous White Velvet Paper that was part of this suite before it was gone . . . (another ellipses - LOL) then you'll love that the front panel of this card overlaying the Blueberry Bliss is indeed White Velvet.
When the largest snowflake die is cut out, it is popped up with double-stacked dimensionals to get that nice height to really give you the "eclipse" look.
The center is overlayered with more cutouts using the Snowfall Thinlits, in Blueberry Bushell, and the Galvanized Metallic Paper - and then a large pearl colored with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blend set right in the middle !
Finally - this year's Christmas Ornament!
I didn't think I would be creating one this year - the first time in quite awhile . . .
And then this beautiful die set came along!
This sweet snowflake ornament is cut from the White Velvet paper (which is really fun!), using the largest die from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies.
I cut 5 snowflakes, gently folded them through the center and attached one at a time, back to back to back, to create this ornament!
Finally I pulled 1/8" Whisper White Sheer Ribbon through the top and attached a Snowflake Trinket to finish it off!
It's perfect - and easy!!
Now!!
I don't want to hear any crying next week, or comments like, "I wish I'd gotten that set!" Nope!
Get your set of stamps and dies, and the trinkets, today!!!
