Hello Fabulous Fellow Stampers ~
Oh there's nothing better than a Friday!!! T G I F!! LOL
We're working hard on chores around the house today, and getting ready for a fun Saturday Valentine's class tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to seeing the group. We've been on hiatus and haven't had a class since December 2nd. We're about to swing into full gear around here at DDS Studios!!
Before we swing off into the weekend, I have one more set of cards to share with you this week - and these are my favorites I've put together so far. These two designs combine elements from the entire All My Love suite of products. The two stamp sets and die sets go hand-in-hand so well.
As I like to do with our Friday posts, these are similar designs, but with slight variations - I hope this helps your creativity and to see designs and products in variations.
Today's card design is strikingly similar - but we varied the colors and the sentiments to create two different cards.
Additionally, these are CAS cards (Clean and Simple) for me. Although I have stamping and some layering, I kept the fronts of the cards very striking and clean overall.
This card is designed in Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White
It is layered out with a Soft Sea Foam Mat
The top panel is stamped in the diagonal from the bottom left to the mid-right in Soft Sea Foam ink using the scattered heart image from the Forever Lovely stamp set.
By varying the shading (stamping full ink, then stamping off again and again), the effect is quite soft and "lovely."
When these two layers were SNAIL'd together, I wrapped them with Whisper White 5/8" Polka-Dot Tulle Ribbon and tied a bow. I adore this ribbon and it creates an elegant and soft addition to this "shabby chic" design.
I used Vellum to cut hearts with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies, and layered them in and around the tied ribbon.
I stamped the sentiment from Meant to Be in Versamark on Soft Sea Foam cardstock, and heat embossed with White Emboss Powder.
Technique Tip: To get the intense and "extra-raised" look that I achieved in the emboss powder, heat the first "layer" of powder until it's just warmed up; immediately dust with a second layer of emboss powder and start to heat again; then just as it is warming and starting to turn, add a third layer of powder; then finish off heating your emboss powder to its final stage. You will LOVE this effect!
I cut the sentiment apart, and reset it the way I wanted on the card using mini-dimensionals.
The stamping on the inside of the card echoes the front - and leaves plenty of room for another stamped sentiment or a handwritten note.
The second design is similar to the first, but uses Gray Granite and Whisper White as its colorway.
Like the first card, I stamped the heart design in varied levels of shading with Gray Granite ink across on the diagonal, from lower left to mid-right.
These layers are also tied with the Whisper White 5/8" Polka-dot Tulle Ribbon.
In this case I cut the "connected" heart in the dies set from Vellum, then carefully cut apart the section I wanted and tucked it in behind the tied ribbon, using just a little bit of 2-way glue to attach it.
The sentiment is inked and embossed in the same way as the card above, and then fussy cut it out. It is also popped with dimensionals.
Both cards are finished off with an array of Heart Epoxy Droplets.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card set, and are as inspired as I am by our beautiful stamp sets and framelits this year. There is so much more to come!! So stay tuned!
Until Next Time . . .
