Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Well, I didn't accomplish what I wanted for all my Valentine's blog posts last week and this! Sigh :-( It just gets too crazy in my life!! But the cold and snow is returning this weekend, and I'm planning to just shut myself at home and hang out in the Studio all weekend, nice and warm and cozy! Lots of hot cocoa too!! LOL
By now you've seen the BIG news about not only our 2nd Sale-A-Bration release coming tomorrow; but the first ever "SAB Coordination" release starting March 1st! I am soooo excited about this, I can hardly contain myself. There is nothing I love more than having the ability to "cut out" my images without having to "fussy cut"! And SU! surprised us all with an array of framelits and thinlits that coordinate to a number of our Sale-A-Bration stamp sets! YOU can get these too, beginning on March 1st. Learn ALL about the fun HERE!
Today, I'm CASEing a sample that was provided to the demonstrators internally last week, and that I just fell in love with. So this may be the first time you're seeing a card designed similarly. I won't share the sample ~ but just jump to my final version!
And today, I'm showcasing the gorgeous Lasting Lily stamp set. When I saw our Sale-A-Bration offerings for this year, I immediately fell in love with set!! So how exciting that now we have a die set to go with it!!

"CASE-Out" Design Guide
1. Cut and score your 8-1/2" z 5-1/2" Balmy Blue cardstock, gently burnishing on the score line with your bone folder.
2. Cut a piece of Grapefruit Grove Gala Gingham plaid DSP with the trellis die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies. Attach using Fine-Tip Glue Pen (or a multi-purpose glue stick/pen) to the upper right-hand corner of your card base front.
3. Using the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and your Big Shot, emboss the 3" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock; Attach dimensionals, and then attach toward the lower left of the front of your card base.
4. Stamp your leaves and stems from the Lasting Lily stamp set, stamping lightly first in Granny Apple Green ink, then sponging the remainder of the stamp with a sponge dauber and Lemon Lime Twist ink, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. You will need approximately 6 of the full "twisted" leaf; and 2 of the stem w/ leaf; and 3 of the straight stem. Stamp two of the larger lily image, and one of the smaller, by first lightly stamping in Daffodil Delight ink, then sponging the centers with a sponge dauber and Calypso Coral ink. Die cut all the images with the Lily Framelits Dies.
5. Using glue dots, attach the stems to the lilies. The smaller shaped stem with the leaf will fit your small lily; the larger shaped stem will fit your larger open lily. Then, again using glue dots, begin arranging your leaves across the 3" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Note from the picture that some "hang off" the bottom, and then are trimmed. Some are stems with the "base" cut off and turned upside down to give a slightly different "leaf" effect. Arrange with the flowers intertwined as you layer up. Use SNAIL on the back of the larger lilies; and glue dots arranged down the stems and leaves for the rest.
6. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark on Calypso Coral and heat emboss with White emboss powder. Cut with the labels in the Lily Framelits Die; and the larger label framelit to layer behind also in Calypso Coral. SNAIL together.
7. Add SNAIL to the back of the layered label and layer back and for approximately 8" of 1/4" Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon.
8. Cut a Pearlized Doily in half, and then in quarters. Snip off just the very center of a quarter piece; then add to the back of the ribboned label with glue dots. Add dimensionals and adhere to the front of the car base.
9. Finish off with Iridescent Sequins in the coral color; and pearls in the center of your flowers and on the ends of the label.
On March 1st you will be able to buy the coordinating Lily Framelits Dies to go with your Lasting Lily stamp set!! In the meantime, be sure to earn YOUR free stamp set with a minimum $100 order. This set is well worth having in your stash!!
And tomorrow is the 2nd Release for Sale-A-Bration!! We're already halfway through our best time of the year! Don't miss out on all the goodies.
Until Next Time . . .
