Can you tell I'm feeling better?? LOL I'm still fighting the cough a little bit from the crud I caught over two weeks ago; but overall since Sunday, I am suddenly just feeling so much better; more energetic and back to my old self!! Whew! And Spring is definitely in the air this week; before the next round of rain and snow on the weekend - LOL
As I indicated yesterday, we're "hopping" with all feet in on the final week of Sale-A-Bration for 2019!! It is so hard to believe we're down to the final week! It went by so fast!! This past Saturday I had a "Sale-A-Brating the Ides of March" class, with a total SAB focus, and lots of giveaways!! It was a lot of fun! But the crafters had to answer quiz questions to try to win their goodies!! LOL One of my questions was "what is Wendy's favorite whimsical stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration brochure?" Can you guess?? LOL
The So Hoppy Together stamp set is absolutely the cutest!! By the time I got done designing this card, I was just like, eeeeeeeek!! LOL And the coordinated More Than Words stamp set is wonderful for fun sentiments and creating a wonderful card for a friend!!
This card is cut from Thick Whisper White cardstock, 11" x 4-1/4", scored @ 5-1/2", for a fun top-fold card.
I used Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Mossy Meadow greens along with the Gingham Gala DSP, for a fun "froggy" card -- LOL
The layered banners along with a fun piece of the Lemon Lime Twist Organdy Ribbon (oh I hope you were able to score this bundle of ribbon before it was gone!!), make the perfect backdrop for my Vellum overlay.
I stamped the cute sentiment right on the Vellum.
But I did use my Hop Around Framelits to create this cute vignette with Mr. Frog and his adorable fireflies.
I stamped the frog and firefly images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock; and colored with Stampin' Blends.
The Lilly Pad is cut from Lemon Lime Twist, and some little flowers from Powder Pink cardstock.
I then adhered them with glue dots and SNAIL together and to the Vellum. The fireflies are adhered with glue dots. This allowed me to use dimensionals (mini dimensionals behind the fireflies) so that they were hidden from the front and could pop the entire Vellum piece on the front of the card. It's finished off with some sweet Glitter Enamel Dots.
I had as much fun with the inside!! LOL
If you missed out on snagging the coordinating Hop Around Framelits before they were gone, don't panic! You can create a cute lily pad with a Layering Oval Framelit (just snip in the notch), and you can easily fussy cut these frogs - they're a breeze!!
