Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~
We've arrived at the 2nd Wednesday of June ~~ and that can mean only one thing! It's time for the Stampin' Pretty Pals monthly blog hop! And since yesterday was my birthday . . . it seems like a good time to celebrate ~ with "wings"!!
You may be just starting the hop here or you may have come from the wonderful Debbie Mageed at Secrets to Stamping. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. When you're done perusing today's project, you’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move or “hop” along your way from Pal-to-Pal.
Well, I think Peacocks have wings -- LOL ;-) The ones at my zoo just strut around; but I think that's because their wings are clipped so they don't fly away!
I have been so over the moon excited about the new Noble Peacock Suite in the new 2019-2010 Annual Catalog. Go take it all in on pages, 24, 25 and 26. You're gonna adore the new foils, specialty designer paper which is all foil, the new Rhinestones (featured on this card design), and, of course, the stamp set and coordinated dies!
This card base was cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock, 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2".
Then I used the largest of the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut the center out of the front of the card;
and then backed it with one of the gorgeous foil papers from the Noble Peacock Specialty DSP.
Mr. Royal Peacock was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink, overlaid with Blueberry Bushel ink - and then colored in with the Light Old Olive stampin' Blend.
When I say overlaid - it's because this is a 2-step stamp set. So you stamp the main peacock image in one color; and then add detail to the tail section with a second image and another ink color.
Mr. Peacock was fussy cut; and then I used one of the framelits from the die set, cut a coordinating peacock from the Blueberry Bushel foil, and offset for a nice layered look to my peacock. The entire piece is popped with dimensionals.
I then had more fun than the law really should allow with the Noble Peacock Rhinestones to highlight each of the pretty tail feathers.
This card glistens with beautiful color!
The inside of the card is stamped with more wonderful images and sentiments from the stamp set.
You are going to just LOVE this suite -- I can assure you!!
Rush to my Online Shop and snap it up today!! I just Know it's at the top of your Wish List -- LOL
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Pals. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 10, 2019, when we return to share “Mixing it Up” projects. Should be interesting! Don’t miss the fun!
