Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~
Whooo Hooooo!! Time to celebrate the 2nd Wednesday of the month with the Stampin' Pretty Pals!! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “It’s the Sentiment That Counts” - showcasing new or favorite sentiments as the focal point of our projects. You may be starting the hop here or coming you may be coming from Beth McCullough at Stamping Mom. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. When you're done perusing today's project, you’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move or “hop” along your way from Pal-to-Pal.
So, I finally found some time in the midst of the hecticness of finishing up with details around the house, and final finishing touches on the upcoming wedding, to pull out some of these wonderful new goodies from the 2019 Holiday Occasions Catalog and play! Yeah!!! And what better place to start than with Fall. And while we're focused on sentiments, I think today's project showcases a sentiment of "gratitude" from the Day of Thanks stamp set just beautifully.
Creating around a focal sentiment is so much fun!
And even more fun, is how easily you can use our gorgeous designer papers for a backdrop.
This is not a fancy fold card today; instead all the fun is put into the layering and fun decor around the sentiment itself.
This card is cut from Early Espresso cardstock, 4-1/14" x 11", scored at 5-1/2".
Then layers of Pretty Peacock, Copper Foil and various designs from the Come Gather Together DSP, and built up to create a wonderful backdrop for the focal sentiment.
The sentiment was stamped in new Celestial Copper Delicata Ink; then die cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
From there, I went to town with the new Gather Together stamp set and coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies in Cajun Craze, Merry Merlot and Copper Foil. The largest leaf is rock 'n roll stamped with Pretty Peacock and Merry Merlot inks and cut out with the coordinated die.
I snuck in some interesting leaf sprays in Pretty Peacock from the In the Woods Dies.
Then layered in wonderful ribbon and twine from the Come to Gather Ribbon Combo Pack, and finished it all off with a wooden feather element from the Tags & Feathers Elements collection and some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I guess I'm making up for "disappearing off the grid" these past several weeks all in one card project -- LOL
But what fun!! I am loving our new products!! How about you?
I hope you had fun with me today!! More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share "My Favorite Season" projects. Don’t miss the fun!
