Hello Fellow Stampers ~
I can't let today's incredible Stamp Set Sale go by without featuring at least one of the incredible stamp sets on sale today for 15% off it's normal price.
I have decided to feature a set that's been on my shelf, but hasn't gotten much use yet. I'm a big country girl at heart; and I love horses. So when I first saw the Let It Ride stamp set, I knew I had to have it. It's unfortunate that I have not had the time I would have liked to use it much yet. Now that life is settling down a little; I think I can finally pull some of these wonderful sets off the shelf and give them the love they deserve! 😘
Tonight's project is inspired by my fellow Stampin' Pretty Pal, and current Artisan Design Team Member, Stesha Bloodhart. She inspires me every day, both with how to work my blog, as well as with her wonderful ideas and design aesthetic.
Tonight's project showcases two stamps on today's special Flash Sale!!
Both of these stamp sets are a "must have" in my book!
And you're gonna LOVE the watercolor "idea" passed on by Stesha 😉
Before we move on to the rest of the card - let's take a closer look at that background - because it is eaaaasy peasy!!!
The background is stamped in Early Espresso classic ink with the Birch background stamp on our new 100 Fluid Watercolor paper - this stamp was new in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog - and I love this stamp!!
Then, taking your AquaPainter, and just lightly move the color with a little bit of water in the brush over each stamped area -- not too much now!! Don't you just love how this looks??
The piece was then cut with the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Die.
I created a Soft Suede "frame" with the next two Stitched Rectangle Dies down in size from the background. Then glued this directly to the background with Multipurpose Glue.
That leaves me with the "feature" stamp set of this project - the Let It Ride stamp set!!
The horse was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Shimmery White cardstock - then blended with Stampin' Blends in Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Gray Granite, and the Color Lifter for a cool effect!
I fussy cut our horse friend, and popped him with dimensionals.
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark on Early Espresso cardstock, and heat embossed with Shimmer White Emboss Powder.
I fussy cut the sentiment as well; then attached a "lasso" made from Linen Thread to the back side with SNAIL and popped it all all up with dimensionals to match the horse.
Finished off with Designer Elements, this card is ready to inspire someone to greater things!
Both of these stamp sets, and 52 others, are 15% off today -- but only until Midnight tonight!! Only a very few hours remain to take advantage of this rare and special sale!! Don't miss out!!
