Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Whew!! My Goodness!! It feels like forever since I last posted to all of you. And really it's only been several weeks! So much has happened; and now I can say I am officially Mrs. Michael McGee!! LOL It's been a whirl of a couple of months and certainly the past several weeks!!
But we're home now!! Wedding done - check! Honeymoon done - check! Guests sent back home - check!! House back in order (mostly) - check! LOL I think it's time to figure out what "normal" looks like; and start to get settled back into a rhythm.
Our wedding took place on Saturday, September 21st, at The Broadmoor Hotel, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful gorgeous day!! The weather was absolute perfection. And except for a very few small hiccups (my sister-in-law got sick and couldn't make it, a little trouble with the dress in the dressing room, etc.), for which we did some quick scrambling and fixes, everything came off absolutely beautifully!!
I can hardly wait for the official photos from the photographer so I can see what it all looked like through his lens!!
I had absolutely the BEST Matron of Honor in my dear friend Amy Delay -- she was by my side and helped with everything all the way through!!
We've spent so much time together in the past several months that we're having "withdrawal" syndrome!! LOL
We spend our honeymoon at a Sandals Resort in Barbados!!
Oh My!! I gained six pounds while we were away - drinking - eating - lounging!! LOL
But you can see we had a lot of fun!!
Much needed!!
Now it's back to the regular daily schedule!! LOL Work, grocery shopping, and cleaning the house!! LOL And now it is time for me to get my head out of the clouds and return to the newly finished Studio for some much needed catch up and creative time!! This will be my "transition week" to trying to get back on track!! So stay tuned 😉
