Hello Fellow Stampers ~
A little technical hiccup this week getting this post out; but well, here we are!!
I really am trying to get back into the creative groove. But finding it a little difficult to find my mojo. I find I'm tired this week after working all day; and getting into the Studio in the evening hasn't quite fallen into place for me. I have so many ideas I'd like to be playing around with. So I'm a little frustrated.
One of the things I'm finding is driving me, is that my new Studio is So Big! that it doesn't feel cozy to me anymore like my old Studio did. So it's hard to want to settle in there when I'd rather cozy into the bed -- LOL I'll have to find a way to make things feel more cozy as we go into the cooler months and season now!!
Today I want to put into the spotlight our wonderful Scalloped Notecards & Envelopes from the Annual Catalog; and our new Come to Gather suite of products to create a wonderful set of cards for this Fall season. I'd love to put a focus on this beautiful suite or products for a few days!
I've featured various papers from the Come to Gather designer series paper collection, against the notecard backgrounds - what a quick and easy way to to put together a card design!
I have used primarily the Gather Together stamp set; and the Gathered Leaves Dies to create these cards.
And then wove in some fun elements using the Frosted Frames Dies, Christmas Cardinal Dies and fun ribbon and finishing elements.
This pretty Old Olive scalloped notecard sports a Pool Party/Old Olive DSP pumpkin background.
I stamped and cut a variety of leaves with the Gathered Leaves Dies in Old Olive & Mossy Meadow; and slipped in some wonderful leaf sprigs using the Christmas Cardinal Dies. Always look at all your die sets to see how you can interweave pieces and parts -- it's a wonderful way to design!!
A piece of 3/8" Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible Ribbon in the background; and the rest layered with dimensionals over the top. Finished off with a sentiment on a strip of 3/8" x 2-3/4" Old Olive cardstock which was "tailed" on the one end using the Classic Label Punch; and a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
This notecard is the Calypso Coral version; featuring pumpkins; and fussy cut wheat sheafs. And these sprigs were cut using the Frosted Frames Dies. Be sure to check out this set of dies -- there are lots of wonderful elements included here. Notice that I cut a strip of 1/2" x 5" designer paper for all the notecards to lay inside behind the scallop. It's a lovely effect.
Some Old Olive Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack laid in the background; and finishing with the Designer Elements.
This notecard is the Balmy Blue version. I love this paper on this card.
I actually fussy cut one of the pumpkins from this paper and worked the other pieces around it.
And I love ruching the Linen Ribbon which is easily done with your SNAIL.
Gather your fun Fall supplies and get creating these fabulous notecards. Reach out to me if you have questions and I'll be happy to help! And now, Happy Crafting everyone!! Whooo Hooooooo 😊😊
Hugs, . . .
