Good Morning Fabulous Fellow Stampers ~
By the time you read this, I will be long since on my way to the airport, and winging my way to Las Vegas for a quick weekend of fun attending Stampin' Up! OnStage (convention) and having a little fun with my honey on the side!! LOL We're looking forward to this quick get-away. And I'm looking forward to seeing my fellow demonstrators.
It's been several years since I last attended a Stampin' Up! event. I'm looking forward to this. By the time I return, I will have the new 2020 Spring Occasions catalog in my hand; have gotten a sneak peak at Sale-A-Bration; and will have gotten to see all the new products coming our way in just a few short weeks -- can you believe it!?! But until then . . . we still have the Holiday Catalog to love and enjoy.
So I thought today I'd share with you the card I designed and quickly threw together this week to take for my "swap" card. I made 22 of these in about 2-1/2 days -- kind wild and crazy!! But I do love how these turned out!
Once again, like in yesterday's project, I used the Frosted Foliage bundle for inspiration ~~ this time leaning more on the Frosted Frames Dies for some added umph; while pulling my stamped images and sentiment from a cute little set from the Annual Catalog for a lovely "flirtatious" feel on this card.
The flowers in the cut oval are from the A Little Lace stamp set; as is the sweet little sentiment. I created a cool "icy" feel to this card which I just love using Seaside Spray cardstock and Silver Foil; and then mixing in some Purple Posy for a soft "pop" of color.
The background piece was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder for some nice texture; and a sweet bow using the Seaside Spray 1/4" Metallic Ribbon gives a sweet touch. Finishing include the Clear Faceted Gems for the flower centers; and the Silver Metallic Pearls down the upper right-hand side.
I'll be sharing my convention experiences with you all next week; and we'll be continuing to play with products from the Holiday Occasions catalog as we approach Thanksgiving and the corner into December!! I have some fun things up my sleeve I want to try and share with you 😉😉
