Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Happy Tuesday!!! We're sailing through the week at the highest of speeds -- LOL. Did anyone else watch the craziness on The Bachelor last night?!? Okay, I probably shouldn't admit I watch that silliness -- LOL. But I am just a "little" bit addicted; and now I've got Mike watching with me -- LOL. Although I think he only watches so he can make the "cynical/snide" remarks -- LOL

TODAY'S PRODUCT FOCUS FEATURED DESIGNS!
Today's card design(s) feature a "simpler" version that you can whip together quick and easy; and a more "stepped up" version with lots of fun details to create a feast for the eyes. I love them both! [And the pictures DO NOT do these cards justice!!]
The focal color I chose for these card designs is soft Petal Pink. I added a "pop" of Champagne Foil which carries throughout the card ~ in the matting, the edge of the gorgeous metallic ribbon, and of course, our beautiful Champagne Rhinestone Jewels.
Here I use a monochromatic look by cutting the card base from Petal Pink; and then adding the background overlay embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D Emboss Folder, on the card base.
Then I used my new favorite die set ~ the Stitched So Sweetly Dies ~ to create the pretty scalloped center background, matted with Champagne Foil.
The gorgeous cake is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock, and colored with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin' Blends!
This cake is attached to the "side" of the center panel with SNAIL. Notice the "dots" in the background? Use the cute little "splatter" image from the stamp set and Petal Pink classic ink to create texture to the center panel.
A light bit of shimmer was added to the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella, so everything just shimmers a little.
And that sentiment? Don't you love it?!? LOL
Stamped with the Glitzy Gold Delicata Ink from the Holiday Catalog, and then embossed with my own "special mix" of our emboss powders to get an effect awfully close to the champagne color I'm carrying throughout this card. Fun, huh?!
This card, though, I had a TON of fun creating! I actually ended up starting it; and then setting it aside and "sleeping on it" overnight. And it was early the next morning that it came to me what I wanted to try. Sometimes it works that way! It's better when you're struggling, or not feeling the inspiration, to give it a rest overnight and come back the next day! Some of my best ideas happen that way!!
So again, the card base is Petal Pink ~ keeping with our theme here ~ LOL
This time the Champagne Foil plays up as the matting behind the main background, which is a gorgeous piece from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper pack, which I then overlaid with a piece of Vellum to soften it. These layers are wrapped with the 1/4" Petal Pink Metallic-Edged Ribbon. Then I cut my frame again; but this time I cut the center out with one of the smaller frames in that collection to create a "window" of sorts. The sentiment then sits on the edge of the "window."
Then I cut my frame again; but this time I cut the center out with one of the smaller frames in that collection to create a "window" of sorts. The sentiment then sits on the edge of the "window." Here you can see the double-bow and the gorgeous rhinestones throughout.
This cake is a true "masterpiece" -- LOL
I stamped the cake 3 times to create this look. And look how easy it is to do this with the gorgeous Birthday Dies.
The first cake is stamped and die cut as the "base" for the rest of what comes. Then I cut the cake platter from the Champagne Foil. Technique Note: You have to cut the "base stem" off the stamped cake before attaching the die cut cake platter to it. Use a little Multi-Purpose glue on the edge where the platter attaches, and voila!
Then I colored the 2nd stamped cake flowers, once again use my Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Then I cut out JUST the flowers with the coordinating die. That flower spray is attached right over the coordinating flowers on the "base cake" using dimensionals.
I then colored just the top flower on the 3rd stamped cake, cut out the flower spray with the coordinating die again; and this time I carefully snipped apart that top flower from the rest and attached it cascading downward as you see above! How cool!
And slipped in and underneath around are the sprays of leaves also cut with the dies from Vellum and Champagne Foil, to create that artistic chabby chic look I love so much!!
A little Wink of Stella, and lots of wonderful Champagne Rhinestone Jewels, and this card is truly a "masterpiece" - don't you agree?
Don't miss out on these, and other, Sale-A-Bration products; and the Coordination Products that go with them! They're only here for a short time!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
