Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Well - whew! That's all I can say!! We've gotten through another strange week. And I'm determined to try to "settle in" to the Studio over the weekend and do some other things. I might even try to curl up with a book; which would be nice for a change! Hey, I've pulled out a couple of little cross-stitch projects ~ that should tell you something!! LOL
In the meantime, I'm slowly sliding back into the creative seat in the Studio. It's taking me a little bit to feel the creativity and really want to design a card. I think the whole Covid-19 thing has just really sapped my energy in so many ways!!
But, . . . it's time to attack Easter ~~ I suddenly realized that we are literally two days away from Palm Sunday; and a week away from Good Friday and Easter!! How did that happen!! Goodness! I've so lost track of time with all this other stuff going on.
And I needed to send the "Easter card package" I put together for the son down in Louisiana at Med School; and I wanted to include a cute little Easter card in the box.
So I decided to create something simple, cute, and not too "over the top" since it was for a guy -- LOL
I think this fits the bill.
I'm showcasing the sweet little Welcome Easter stamp set here; with a sweet bunny, sittin' in the grass.
I kept the colors to his favorites - Basic Gray for the card base; and Blueberry Bushel for the matting and ribbon.
Easter bunny is colored with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, and a little Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blend for ears, cheeks, nose, feet bottoms. And a little bumble bee buzzing by.
Nothing too difficult or over the top here.
And then the inside so I could write a little message around the sentiment and send our well wishes and thoughts!
And there you go!! Does this work for a guy, sitting 1000 miles away?? LOL
What is everyone else doing to keep from going stir crazy?? I'd love to hear what you're up to. Leave me your comments.
And we'll be back with some more inspiration soon!!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
