Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Happy Monday!! Here we are, rarin' to go in the Studio. We've been REALLY busy since the Retiring Products (or "Last Change" products as SU! is calling them this year), list(s) came out last week!! We've sorting, purging, organizing, clearing the shelves & drawers, resetting for the new products arriving soon; and pricing, tagging, sorting and preparing for my Annual Studio Clean Out Sale that will be "just around the corner" and here before I know it!! Yikes!
And I've been playing "catch up" too!! Anxious to touch some products from the Spring Mini I hadn't gotten to yet; and to go back and play with some products that I adore, and am extremely sad to see go! But more on that one tomorrow!!
Today I want to focus on the Botanical Prints Product Medley - on page 61 of your Spring Mini Catalog! From the moment I saw this group of products at OnStage last November, I fell in love! I really love the stamp set; and the paper is marvelous; and there are a lot of little pieces to this product medley you really don't want to miss.
And then there's this cute little lidded box that my fellow Stampin' Pretty Pal, Julie DiMatteo, created back in January; and I've been itching to try ever since!! Thank you Julie for your creativity!!!
The problem was, Julie's dimensions were just a tad too big for the 6" x 6" size the Botanical Prints designer series paper comes in. So it was a matter of figuring out how to downsize the box just a tad to use a 6" x 6" piece of paper to create the lid.
So with a little ingenuity, here is my sweet little box -- and I'm going to share with you exactly how to pull this together during a Class With Wendy ~~ Facebook Live Version, TOMORROW, April 28th, at 11:00 am Mountain Time!! That means, you'll want to be sure to hop over to the Doggone Delightful Stampin' main business facebook page and join me, if you want to learn exactly how to make this adorable little box!!
Measurements in preparation for "Class" tomorrow:
Designer Paper: 3-3/8" x 5-3/4"
Cardstock Base: 4-1/4" x 4-1/4"
It's not difficult; and you really don't want to miss this. So here's the direct link to the Doggone Delightful Stampin' business facebook page (this is different than the DDS Distinctive Dabblers private FB Group): https://www.facebook.com/pg/doggonedelightfulstampin/posts/?ref=page_internal
I'll see you tomorrow morning! I look forward to sharing with you "live"!!!!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
