Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~
We've arrived at the 2nd Wednesday of May!! What a strange early Spring it has been; never dreamt I'd be spending 2020 stuck in the house!! Good thing we have crafting fun to keep us busy!
It's time to play with the Stampin' Pretty Pals! This month's theme is “Goodbye to January-June Mini and 2019-2020 Annual Catalogs; Hello to 2020-2021 Annual Catalog” !! The Stampin' Pretty Pals are showcasing their favorites from the retiring catalogs; or maybe a sneak peek at products coming in the new catalog!
You may be starting the hop here or you may be hopping over from Sara Stuart at Sentiments by Sara. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. When you're done perusing today's project, you’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move or “hop” along your way from Pal-to-Pal.
Today's project showcases several soon retiring products; and several that are, thankfully, carrying forward.
But the focal point is one of my favorite designer series paper collections from this past year; and soon to be gone!!
The gorgeous Perennial Essence DSP with its "Monet Watercolor" inspiration is one of my top picks from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog; and has not gotten nearly enough use this past year!! I'm so sorry to see it "fade away".
These projects were created specifically to showcase this gorgeous paper; and some wonderful accents!
Both cards showcase the soon retiring Country Floral 3D embossing folder.
I love this embossing folder - and will be hanging onto it for my "stash" - LOL
I have lightly sponged ink (in this case Petal Pink) across the raised areas of the embossing to add a little color.
What I love is the paper which is in both the vertical panel; and the punched flower using the Perennial Flower Punch.
Sadly the Leaf Punch will also be retiring at the end of the month; as are the Perennial Essence Floral Centers; which is sad since they are absolutely perfect for flower centers.
Thankfully the Floral Essense stamp set, Perennial Flower Punch and our gorgeous ribbons will be back for more fun in the new catalog!!!
The colorways for these two cards are matched to accent the chosen paper. This collection purples are my favorite!
And I even have a fun "tip" for you on this card.
The ribbon is actually the lacy scalloped edge cut off the 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon (Purple Posy). Just trim it away and use to make everything "Pretty as a Posy" - LOL
I hope you had fun with today's projects. Don't miss out on the soon to retire items -- you'll find them in my product carousel below and order just by clicking directly on the product pictures.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 10th, with our theme “New 2020-2022 In Colors.” We can’t wait to show you the newest In Colors in the Stampin’ Up! color family. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Until Next Time . . Puppy Hugs, . . .
