Hello Everyone!!

It's an exciting day!!  Ann and I have been on hiatus from our Kitorials for about 18 months.  Life kind of got in the way last year, as many of you know!

But now, with everyone "stuck" at home, and things a little more focused in both our lives, it seems like the right time to get our fun Kitorials back off the ground.

We're kicking things off with a fabulous Stamp & Punch Bundle, and we hope you are looking forward to joining us for some creative fun.

So let's have a little refresher on how "Create With Ann & Wendy" works.

 

Create With Ann & Wendy is your chance to enjoy creating designs created by Ann Schach and Wendy Klein.  Each release centers around a featured Stamp Set (or sometimes stamp bundle), which you purchase along with a “kit” and a tutorial featuring a design from each designer.  Fondly named a “kitorial”, each kit you purchase will feature a tutorial from Ann (and coordinating precuts/embellishments); and a tutorial from Wendy (with coordinating precuts/embellishments) along with the featured stamp set (or bundle).  You will receive supplies in your kit to complete 5 cards of each design (10 cards total), with envelopes. 

*Note: Paper colors/patterns in each kit may vary from the original pictured sample.

How It Works:

1. Purchase the Kitorial along with your featured stamp set** from either Ann or Wendy (spaces are limited, so when one designer fills, check with the other designer to see if she has any spaces left).
2. You will receive your downloadable tutorials upon payment for your reservation.
3. Your stamp set (or bundle) will be ordered immediately; and you will receive your stamp set and your kit within 10 days of payment (dependent upon shipping from SU!).
4. Your kit will include all pre-cut cardstock, die cuts, embossed pieces, embellishments, and envelopes. You will need to supply your own ink, emboss powders, and adhesives to finish your kit.
5. Future Kitorials releases are dependent on the availability and schedules for the designers.

**If you already own this stamp set, you may substitute with a stamp set of your choice of equal or lesser value.

Summer 2020 Release Details:

• The price for the "Posted for You" Kitorial is just $59.95, and includes the Posted for You Bundle, all pre-cut cardstock, die cuts, embossed pieces, embellishments, envelopes and shipping.  You will need to supply your own ink, Stampin' Blends, emboss powders (when needed), and adhesives to finish your kit. 
• Are you ready for some stamping fun? Just send an email to Ann at [email protected] or Wendy at [email protected]. The designer you contact will send you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours.
• Note: If you already own this stamp set/bundle,  you may substitute your choice of stamp set/bundle of equal or lesser value.
• Deadline for signing up: Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, 4:00 PST/5:00 MST/6:00 CST/7:00 EST.  Stamp bundles will be ordered on Wednesday July 8th.  We will be adhering strictly to this deadline.
• PDFs will be emailed to you upon receipt of your PayPal payment.
• Your stamp bundle will be mailed to you within 1 - 2 business days after the designer receives them from Stampin’ Up!   Your kit supplies will be included with your stamp bundle

Wednesday Spotlight ~~ 2nd Installment . . . A World of Good!

 

Hello Fellow Stampers ~

I'm foregoing a CASE-Out Thursday this week to catch up a post that I wanted to put up two weeks ago already -- yikes!!  That's when mom was here recovering from her TAVR procedure for her heart; and I just did not get things finished and written up like I wanted.  So now that things are settling in, she's back home recovering very nicely, and I can concentrate on other things  -  LOL -  we're going to get back on schedule.

 

The World of Good Suite is most definitely one of my top picks from the new Annual Catalog.  It rates extra high for me also in terms of masculine sets available to us this year.  It's going to make it "a world of good" (LOL) for creating wonderful cards for the men in our lives!!

I combined the new Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy colors in this card; along with the wonderful new Brass Foil, to create a really lovely "antiquey" old world feel to this card.  Let's take a closer look at some of the details.

 

First I embossed a piece of Night of Navy cardstock with the die "emboss" piece in the World Map Dies. Then I attached Antiqued Corners to each corner of that cardstock piece.

Take a closer look at this wonderful die in this set - it embosses word into your paper, rather than making a "cut" of your cardstock.  Be sure to use the correct "sandwich" when running this thru your die cutting machine.

The designer paper has been embossed with the new Old World Paper 3D embossing folder.  This gives extra wonderful texture to the designer paper.

I cut the globe overlay and stand, and the curly embellishments all out of Brass Foil.

The new Faux Suede ribbon lays in the background to add some extra detail; and the delightful Gilded Gems are the perfect finish.

Wednesday Spotlight ~~ The DDS Studio Reveal!!

 

Hello Fellow Stampers ~

Well, my goodness!!  I'm excited about today's post!!  Everyone has been "clamoring" for the Virtual Tour of my new DDS Studios for some time.  And I have to apologize that it has taken me so long to finally make this happen.  The situation hasn't been ideal.  I had hoped to do this video just a little bit differently; but with the coronavirus pandemic and all, I ended up pushing through and doing this video on my own!  Yikes! 

Many of you know that I got engaged in late 2018; and married last Fall.

Last year was a crazy, topsy-turvy year of sorting, packing, moving, unpacking, re-purging as Mike and I put two households together (35 years of stuff between the two of us).

In making the decision to keep Mike's home and make it over, rather than selling and buying a new house, we also found ourselves in the midst of major construction.

Beginning in May last year the entire basement of Mike's home was torn out for a major overhaul.

You can see some of those pictures Here, Here, Here, and Here. This little bit of a look down memory lane was quite eye-opening for me as I wrote this post.  I had forgotten all the change and how different everything really is!

 It's been almost a year now (not quite), since I was finally able to start moving into my new space, unpacking, sorting, re-sorting - finding out what all I had all over again!!!  LOL  It's been fun.  Designing a new Studio space with all the little requirements and details you have in the back of your mind is a lot of fun!  I am grateful that I was afforded the opportunity to have this wonderful space.  My customers definitely love it ~~  I hope you enjoy seeing it all too!

So apologies in advance . . . I thought if I turned the camera in different areas it would give a better view; lesson learned!  Turning the camera does NOT work!!  LOL  So if you find yourself looking sideways from time-to-time . . . just be patient!!  We'll do better next time!!  LOL

 

I want to take a moment and point out the Stamp-n-Storage pieces that I have implemented in my space and that I depend on for organization:
