Falling a little bit behind on my planned blog posts as we are getting ready for Mike's mom to arrive tomorrow. Lots to do yet; but I'm trying to just take a breath and take it all in stride!!
So who is ready for snow ??? Tired of the middle of Summer heat ?? LOL Let's take a minute and dream of cool snowflakes falling, falling, falling . . . . And enjoy the next installment of my Christmas In July series.
I was so excited when Snowman Season and the coordinating Snowman Builder Punch carried forward from last year's Holiday Catalog. This cutie patootie stamp set was one of my favorites last year and I didn't get to give it nearly enough love!! So I'm excited that it's safely ensconced in the Annual Catalog and we have time to enjoy!!
Even better, this card incorporates a piece of designer paper from a collection that also carried forward from last year, and is now re-appearing in our 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog - the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP. I used the silver foil side of this paper showcasing "snow flurries" - so fun!!
This card is cut 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"; and then cut on the front flap at 2-3/4" from the end to create a "half-flap" card fold.
This fun look allows you a "peak" at the inside back panel; with an overlay from the front panel.
I combined Pool Party and Seaside Spray on this card today. I love the offset of these two colors against each other.
I also combined the gorgeous 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (Whisper White), with the new (from the Annual) 3/8" Pool Party Sheer Ribbon to create this stunning layered double bow look! I adore these two ribbons - and especially together!!
The inside of the card is just pure snow fun!! LOL
This little guy just makes me happy - and I need happy right now with all that is going on in our world!!
