Hello Fellow Stampers ~
WOW! Ok! Where is Wendy?!? That's a kids book, isn't it?? LOL I'm here!! I promise! I'm just not feeling very inspired these days. So my homework to all of YOU -- I need your inspiration and good wishes!! I hope you'll start sharing with me; and tell me what you'd like to see as well!!
So we're back in "catch up" mode. And today's Christmas card has actually been sitting on the work desk a couple of days again - sigh! Sorry about that. I do think it's kind of cute though; and I used several of our new sets to create this fun design.
I combined the fabulous sentiment set - Christmas Means More - with the Cherish the Season bundle; more specifically, the Sounds of the Season dies. This sentiment and the dies work perfectly together, don't you think?? 😉😉 And I really could hardly wait to create something with this sentiment as It's a Wonderful Life has always been one of my favorite movies to kick off the Christmas season with!
This is not a difficult card. The card base is Real Red cardstock, 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4".
Then I created 3 background layers - Gold Foil, Cherry Cobbler, and a lovely piece of designer paper from the 'Tis the Season DSP - gotta love that this is another one of the choices on this month's Designer Series Paper Sale!!
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark, and embossed with Gold embossing powder. Then cut with this fabulous die in the Beautiful Boughs Dies - you gotta check that out!!
Popped with dimensionals. And then all these lovely bells cut from the Brushed Metallic cardstock for a lovely variety of "brassy" color. And a few Green Foil green sprigs for a pop of color of course!!
The bells are layered using glue dots and tied with a lovely piece of Old Olive 1/4" ribbon and the set is popped with dimensionals to match the sentiment.
This somewhat simple card is just plain fun!
Do you like?? LOL
Next up the Stampin' Pretty Pals Blog Hop -- and then we have a little catch up to do with our 16 Weeks of Christmas. And I think it might be time for some Halloween; what do you think??
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
