Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Well, we did it!!! I didn't pull this off the way I had planned this year!! Next year we will do MUCH better, right?? LOL Nevertheless, our small Christmas miracle has happened, and I have shared all 16 projects with counting this post today!!
Sort of hard to believe that Christmas Eve is upon us! But before we can celebrate Christmas in this house . . . we will have a 64th Birthday to celebrate! My husband is feeling "old" and has threatened to not get up today!! LOL Hopefully I can bring him out of his aging funk!!
We're finishing off my 16 Weeks of Christmas today with a "Very Merry" gift tin!
These little tins are really Fant-a-bulous; and disappointingly are NOT carrying forward. Which means, when the inventory is gone; they are gone!!
I created a sweet little belly band for this tin; and added one of those "sneak peek" tags we talked about in yesterdays' post.
It's quick and easy, and you can tuck all kinds of last-minute gifts inside one of these, including gift cards ~~ or how about some real cash money!!! 😉😉
My tin is holding this adorable set of "Holiday Flavor" chapsticks I found at our grocery store!! So fun! And a great stocking stuffer too!
I thought I'd wrap some tissue paper around them so they don't jostle all over the place; and think how cute this will be for the recipient to open!
You can see that the belly band is made so it slides on and off the tin with ease!!
Here's a closer look at the belly band. I cut a piece of the Red Velvet paper 8" x 2-1/4"; and used Tear 'n Tape to attach the ends on the back side. Do this while wrapping it around the tin so you get just the right fit!
Then I cut a piece of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper 8" x 2", wrapped it centered around the Red Velvet and did the same thing with the Tear 'n Tape; this time attach the back side of one of the ends of the Plush Poinsettia paper directly to the Red Velvet paper to hold it in place and stabilize it.
Finally I wrapped a piece of the 3/8" Real Red Sheer Ribbon around the center again of the whole belly band (put some Tear 'n Tape on the back side to hold in place and stabilize), and tied a bow; then added my tag with dimensionals.
Now the belly band slides on and off with ease and will always look great!!
Be sure to snag retiring products soon!!
I want to thank everyone for your support and interactions through this wild year!! I appreciate each and every one of you so much!!
Wishing you ALL a very Merry Christmas! May the peace and joy of this season enter your lives tonight and always!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
