Hello Fellow Stampers ~~
We're snuggled in here at DDS Studios and puttering away with all sorts of projects. Counting down the last days of 2020 . . . kind of hard to believe really!! But I've started sorting and playing with new products, and boy-oh-boy!! We are going to enjoy January for sure!! Hang on . . . some sneak peeks coming this week!!
In the meantime, you don't want to forget this gorgeous catalog we're saying goodbye to; or miss out on anything you had been dreaming of having, so be sure to snag those goodies BEFORE they are gone!!
My customers and blog followers know that I always end the year with a cute Thank You card. My mother taught me growing up to always send a proper handwritten "thank you" to the giver of any gift I received. It is a "tradition" I keep to this day; and one I fear may have been lost in the midst of our social media/email world!
Nevertheless, I love to have thank you cards on hand for every occasion. These cute notecards are perfect for both a "thank you" and a quick, sweet little "thinking of you" card at the holiday season.
I designed these cards to fit on our quick and easy 3-1/2" x 5" ready-made notecards & envelopes sets.
They incorporate some of my favorite designer papers, and the beautiful Snowflake Wishes Bundle.
I matted with Purple Posy cardstock, 3-3/8" x 4-7/8"; then a simple background from the designer paper at 3-1/4" x 4-3/4".
Stamp the sweet sentiment in Pacific Point, die cut with the Stitched Shapes circles, popped with dimensionals; and pretty little silver Snowflakes tucked around it.
Finished off with some coordinating Holiday Rhinestones; and it's just that easy!!
I used the same design, but a sweet sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas to create a simple quick Christmas card if you still want to drop a note to someone this week! 😉 I always seem to have some last minute folks that I forgot or need to just drop a line to.
For the inside of the card I used the larger scattered snowflake image in the Snowflake Wishes stamp set, and randomly stamped it in Purple Posy (**NOTE: not everyone has this ink, so use your Highland Heather - very sparingly - if you're one of those) and Seaside Spray (each stamped off once first) down the center of the card. Perfect backdrop to write your note over! Soft and sweet!
I did the same thing in the center of the envelope - except I stamped only once in Purple Posy (again, stamped off first) (**NOTE: not everyone has this ink, so use your Highland Heather - very sparingly - if you're one of those) to make sure it's nice and pale. Don't want to distract the mailman from the address -- LOL
Hope you enjoyed today's cards. We're working through lots of little projects here; and will be back soon with more news and updates!!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
