Whew! The end of the week has arrived! And in the spirit of the upcoming romantic holiday, little Valentine surprises have begun popping up around the house. We're definitely trying to find a way to make it fun and special, even stuck at home!!! I may even pull out the heart-shaped waffle maker on Sunday morning - LOL 😍😍
It's turned frigidly cold here as an arctic cold-front has sunk in; and so it's a perfect time to hang out at home, snuggled in like little warm bugs, and play!!
I took a simple Z-Fold card and spruced it up with strawberries (just need some chocolate somewhere), and a little heart magic just in time for Valentine's Day!!
This is an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Garden Green cardstock, that's been scored at 2-1/2" and 4-1/4".
Perfect panels, a lovely fold - and Happy Valentine's Day tucked on the back panel!
I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the overlay piece on the front panel; which made the perfect background for my heart cut from the Many Hearts Dies. I love the fresh feel of the Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo (pulled from the colors in the Designer Series Paper), which makes this Valentine just light and pretty.
I punched the flowers and leaves from some of the other designer paper in this collection, and covered them in Wink of Stella for lots of glimmer!
The sentiment is from the Punch Party stamp set which you can earn for free with a $300 order or "party."
And this lovely little heart is from the Heartfelt stamp set - easily found in the Annual Catalog, carried forward from last year's Spring Mini.
Now whip this pretty little card together, and give it to your sweetie before the weekend is over 😍😍
