Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Well, it's been an interesting couple of days. Late Sunday morning (Valentine's Day), we discovered that our model for the internet was no longer working. And getting a replacement from our provider has not been a piece of cake! It will be Wednesday until the new modem arrives, which means I've had to limit my online time because I'm using my "hotspot" from my smartphone! That makes supporting my "real" job VERY difficult! Thankfully I have an understanding boss, that's all I can say!
Unfortunately, that has set me behind my planned posts for you, my faithful followers! So I'm sneaking this (and hopefully some updates for the Tuesday round up), without using too much network time from my phone (I hope!!) LOL Bear with me; hopefully we'll have everything back up and working sometime during the day on Wednesday!
So I have a little project I've been puttering for the past several weeks that I wanted to share with you - I tend to make one of these every year at this time (I realized this recently as I looked through my past projects - LOL); but they're just too much fun and really too easy to get the creative juices flowing to pass up!!
I love to put together these little pizza box card gift packages; they hold 3" x 3" cards (paired with our 3" x 3" envelopes) to perfection; and you can create the sweetest little gift package to give someone for them to use for future little notes to their favorite friends (maybe even you - haha).
I brayered this box with Blushing Bride ink; then created a sweet belly band using the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper. Like this is the most gorgeous paper!!
I finished off with a pretty 3/8" Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon wrap and bow; with a snippet of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon for some extra pretty. And some lovely Blushing Bride Love You Always Foil hearts cut using the Stitched Be Mine Dies.
Here is a sampling of the cute little cards I tucked inside.
I used the Sweet Little Valentine Cards & More, cut them apart, and added some other pieces and parts, to create some adorable little 3" x 3" cards.
To make these, cut your Basic White Thick cardstock, 6" x 3", scored at 3". Add those little 3" x 3" Basic White Envelopes to finish them off.
On this card I laid a Square Vellum Doily in the background, layered some leftover pieces of Melon Mambo cardstock and some of the "striped" pieces I cut from one of the notecards in the Sweet Little Valentine Cards set; then cut apart one of the layering cards in that set, added a White Baker's Twine bow; and some little white Resin Hearts. Easy and cute!
Some of these cards just came together with pieces lying on my work desk; this card showcases, again, one of the Sweet Little Valentine notecards that I cut apart, and then used the Layering Squares Dies to cut these two pieces; wrapped with a piece of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon; then added the pretty foil heart cut using the Many Hearts Dies. I added Champagne Rhinestones, and voila! You've got another cute little card.
Here I cut Petal Pink and Melon Mambo cardstock using the Layering Squares Dies; then having cut apart another one of the notecards, and die cut the hearts using one side of the layering cards in that set, I created this sweet little card!
Here in the background is a section left from that same notecard I cut apart; but this time I stamped the image from the Valentine Keepsakes stamp set; then added a Blushing Bride foil cut out of "Love" using the Always Dies.
There is so much fun to be had making these sweet little notecards! And who knows, maybe you'll even keep the set for yourself!! 😉😉😉
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
