Hello Fellow Stampers ~~
We're baaaack!! 😁😁 Did you know that the Annual Designer Series Paper Sale started last week?!? We have wonderful designer series paper packages on sale for 15% off their regular pricing! But let's talk more about that in a minute! First, let's take a look at today's card design featuring one of our wonderful designer series papers that is on the sale . . .
Today I'm using a wonderful paper from the Tidings of Christmas collection; and I've paired it with the new Evergreen Border Punch, Ornate Frames Dies and the Best Year Stamp Set.
This simple card is cut from Thick Basic White cardstock, 11" x 4-1/4", scored @ 5-1/2".
I have a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock cut 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" as a mat, allowing the pretty scattered tree images on this designer paper (measuring 3-1/4" x 5-1/2") to shine!
I wrapped those layers with a piece of Mint Macaron 1/2" Soft Velvet Ribbon before attaching them to the card base front.
The color blends nicely and is hardly noticeable that it is a different green!
Then I stamped the sentiment from the Best Year stamp set in Evening Evergreen on Basic White cardstock, traced around the inside of this pretty die cut from the Ornate Frames dies and fussy cut it out so it could sit in the center of the Evening Evergreen die after it was cut. It worked perfectly!
I attached that with Stampin' Seal over the velvet ribbon.
Then I used the Evergreen Border punch to punch a row of Evening Evergreen trees and then snipped them apart in pairs and arranged and attached them using mini dimensionals for a fun effect against the designer paper background.
It's all finished off with some wonderful Holiday Rhinstones!!
Here's a peek at the inside 😉😉
Tomorrow is surgery day! I had wanted to have a "not in the blog hop" design ready for you, but I'm not sure it's going to happen.
So please bear with me; we'll be back online as soon as able!
