Good Morning Fellow Stampers ~~
Time to play today -- it's Pals Blog Hop Day; and we're "Not In the Pals Blog Hop" - Whoo Hooo -- on our own and ready to share!
Today's Blog Hop theme was My Favorite Things from any of the current catalogs. I thought I'd take this chance to share a bundle from the current 2021 July - December Mini Catalog that, due to backorder issues, only just arrived in the studio recently, but from the moment I saw it was at the top of my "favorite things" list. So join me, as I share what MY favorite thing(s) are today! Because, of course, that changes daily -- LOL
Who would have thought that I would have wrapping paper in my Christmas wrapping paper stash that was a perfect match for the Peaceful Deer bundle!! Whoo hooo
Mom asked me to wrap this small gift for her; and I stumbled on a piece of this fabulous paper that was the perfect size to wrap this little box. Then I realized the colors in the paper were a perfect match for our Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2" Metallic Ribbon.
And then I realized that everything about this paper was perfect with our Peaceful Prints Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper; and just about everything in the Peaceful Deer Bundle AND the Christmas Season Bundle - more specifically the Seasonal Labels Dies.
I was so excited, this cute tag just came right together!!
I kept it simple, and emulated the wrapping paper. It's like they were meant for each other!!
I used one of the dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut the main tag; and punched a hole with my 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch (retired).
Then I die cut the holly leaves and berries using the same set of dies and Mossy Meadow and Real Red cardstock. They are arranged using glue dots.
I stamped this simple sentiment from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in Real Red classic ink; and used another label die from the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut it out. I popped it on the main tag using Mini Dimensionals.
Then I went to town with the cute Deer Builder Punch - first I punched a deer from Real Red cardstock; then I punched a second deer from a piece of plaid design in the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper (hopefully you snagged a package of this during Sale-a-Bration). I glued the two together so my deer would be nice and stable.
I attached two antlers also punched from Real Red cardstock. Then popped the deer on the front of the tag with dimensionals.
It's all finished off with a few Red Rhinestone Jewels.
How Cute!! I think mom will be thrilled and I hope her recipient enjoys it too!!
The Deer Builder Punch and the matching stamp set are back in stock!! And the punch is carrying forward!
Today is the perfect day to snag these items, and anything else on your list, during our Free Shipping Day event!!
We'll be back soon with more fun! Stay tuned!
