Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Oh My! I'm fighting like crazy to get my head above water around here!! We finally got all the retiring products sorted and prepped for the Annual Clean Out Sale coming up in June; and took inventory and stock of what remains active on the shelf, along with new products arriving, it seems, almost daily around here!! It's Pre-Order time for the SU! Demonstrators -- and I'm just starting to see and play with some of the new goodies from the brand new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. It's going to be a fabulous and fun Spring ahead!
So I'm combining my normal Mix-It Up Mondays post with the Terrific Tuesdays post today . . . let's get some fun "business" out of the way first, and then we'll go play and be creative!!
I attended our virtual OnTour event last week, and walked away with all sorts of insights and new ideas. It's fun and exciting all at the same time!!
With fresh inspiration, I finally got the time to plan out the upcoming Class Schedule for the next six weeks or so. You can check that out HERE.
AND!! YEAH!! Finally!! The Product Shares for the upcoming new catalog are up and available for your RSVP! You can see all the information on those HERE.

Today we're focusing on the Daffodil Daydreams stamp set, with a little from Ranunculus Romance, Flowering Tulips, and Through It Together for sentiments and additional pieces and parts to the vintage/shabby chic background. I had so much fun creating this card design - and I know you will too!!
This card is what I call a "mini" Slimline - cut 6" x 7", and scored @ 3" on the 6" side. It's a tad smaller than the regular 7" x 8" Slimline - really kind of "cute" when you look at it.
I have layered Sahara Sand and So Saffron for my layering today.
And then I went to town on the background panel using Crumb Cake and So Saffron classic inks.
A combination of the script image, postage mark, and "rate" (R) image in the Ranunculus Romance stamp set, are coordinated with the dotted image and scrollwork line image in the Daffodil Daydream stamp set to create a varied background. I then brushed with Crumb Cake ink using a Blending Brush; and I randomly added Gold Gilded Leafing to finish out my vintage look
I stamped the daffodil image on a separate piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight stampin' blends, and finished with Clear Wink of Stella. Then I fussy cut the spray of flowers, and popped them with dimensionals over a piece of White Flax Ribbon (retired) that I frayed out on either end. Not exactly sure why I "fussy cut" since this set has a matching die set with it; but, hey!! LOL I guess it's just force of habit since I do so much fussy cutting!
I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips set in Crumb Cake ink; then punched it out with the Double Oval Punch. That too is popped with dimensionals over the bottom portion of the flower stems; and then I finished off the card with some Genial Gems (soon retiring).
I "vintaged" the inside panel, and added the sentiment from the Through It Together stamp set. This is an incredible sentiment set that is a "must have" in your repertoire! And you'll be seeing it again in the new Annual!!
A special card for a special friend . . .
