Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!! We've had our first full day with the fabulous new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I hope you have enjoyed seeing all the new products so far.
In the Spotlight today, I'm highlighting a fun new suite of products from the new Annual Catalog - the very first suite featured in the catalog - the Tea Boutique Suite of products! This is turning out to be a pretty adorable set, with lots of fun options to create fabulous designs.
The Tea Boutique Suite includes the Cup of Tea stamp set and Teacup Dies (bundled for a 10% savings); the fabulous Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper (6" x 6"); and the new Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes set - all cut, scored, and made fabulously pretty for you!! Not another thing you need to except add your stamps, ink, and paper layers on top!!
Today's card is a Slimline design (8-1/2" x 7", scored @ 3-1/2" on the 7" side), showcasing a cut stack of "porcelain" tea cups. I actually LOVE vintage tea cups and collect them. I have some beautiful ones inherited from my great-grandmother, and grandmother; and others I have found at vintage shops.
This set of "faux porcelain" (LOL) tea cups are cut from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper, which makes it fabulous easy!!
And I've "precariously" stacked my tea cups for a fun showcase.
I layered the new Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet In Color cardstocks to create my color theme and background; and then chose my designer papers to coordinate against that background.
The Basic White Panel was blended with Parakeet Party ink using a Blending Brush; and then I added a few stamped flowers, using the image in the stamp set, lightly stamped along in the background.
Then I laid an overlay of doilies using the back side of Heart & Home Doilies - a nice vintage touch.
Then the cups are "stacked" inside each other using dimensionals to attach them to the front of the card.
I attached stamped and die cut leaves tucked here and there among the cups.
Added a tea bag "label" in the top cup.
And finished off with lots of fun iridescent rhinestones from the retired Garden Gems pack.
A few lemon wedges, and a die cut sentiment, encouraging my recipient to get together soon, were added near the bottom!
And this sweet and adorable card is ready to go in the mail!
