Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Happy Thursday All!! I haven't been hiding this past week - I promise!! LOL We had a fabulous Celebrating Sale-A-Bration Class here last Saturday; and now I'm in the throws of starting to prepare for the Annual Birthday Stamp-a-Stack. In the meantime, we've had another 7" of snow . . . so it's been a good time to hunker down in the Studio and try to work through some projects. And before we go flying into the weekend, I did want to share some creative fun with everyone.
I off to a "Belated" Holiday celebration dinner with some dear friends this evening, and wanted to take a special little treat for each of my friends. We have so many wonderful ready-made gift bags and boxes that make giving little treats and gifts a breeze!! I whipped a couple of these up for my class attendees this past weekend, but wanted to do a little something different for tonight.
And since we're doing a "CASE-Out" Thursday this week, I thought I'd show these adorable little peek-a-boo bags, that were inspired by Patty Bennett, a great Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I believe it was her posting that inspired me to go a step further with these cute little bags than I had before.
These cute bags come in a set of 10 - 5 White; 5 Kraft. Up to now, I've primarily used the White bags; but really wanted to push myself to do something with the Kraft bags.
So I pulled out my designer paper from the Country Floral Lane collection, combined it with the designer paper in the Country Gingham collection (I adore ginghams), and set about creating a cute little gift bag.
By using the designer paper to cover the lower and upper portions of the bag around the window, and leaving the Kraft paper to peek out elsewhere, you get a totally different look from say, just stamping straight on the bag itself.
I then wrapped a piece of the Burlap ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack around the upper portion of the bag just below the sealed/closure area, and tied a bow. Really cute!!
I've been itching to use the Love For You Bundle, and just haven't gotten to it (couldn't fit it into the Valentine Class 3 weeks ago), so now I decided was the perfect time to let my girlfriends know how much they mean to me ~~ especially during Act of Kindness Week !!
These adorable letters die cut beautifully, and work really well if you use the Adhesive Sheets on your cardstock before die cutting -- what a cinch to adhere down with that already in place!!!
A Stylish Shapes circle popped on the front with some Iridescent Pastel Gems to "garnish" with sparkle, and this quick an easy project is festive and ready to go!!
I finished off with some cute hearts cut with the Share a Milkshake Dies in some coordinating Mint Macaron gingham paper, and this little gift with some fabulous Ghirardelli chocolate squares inside is set to go!!!
Let's be thankful for the inspiration all around us, and the ability to CASE (Copy and Share Everything). It makes creativity so much fun!!
I Love to hear from you. Leave your questions or comments below!!
Hugs, . . .
