Hello Fellow Stampers ~
Alright! Alright! I know! Is anyone else feeling as "blue" and uninspired as I am?! It just feels like "why bother" lately. And our Covid case numbers are rising like crazy here in Colorado; and the snow and cold has sunk in; and yes, I'm just feeling lonely and uninspired! That's my excuse 😉😉
We will catch up the missing "weeks" to my 16 Week of Christmas, I promise! And I am hopeful that the little bit of idea wiggling around in the back of my head will come out this week just in time for Halloween! So bear with me please!!
In the meantime, I combined a fabulous "sentiment" stamp set from the August thru December Mini catalog with a gorgeous paper from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley, and our fabulous gold laser cut paper from the Annual Catalog, to create what is a "stunning" but really very simple to create card for this week's Christmas inspiration!!
This card is cut from Thick Whisper White cardstock, 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4", and turned to the horizontal.
Then the layers are Garden Green measuring 5-1/2" x 3-3/4"; Gold Foil measuring 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"; and this beautiful paper snagged from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley measuring 5-1/2" x 3-1/4". You can get the refill kit for this product medley and bypass the stamp set and dies, etc., but still get all the paper and fun embellishments if you like!
Then comes the easy part to create this stunning card -- I picked this circular shape with all the detailed laser cuts to it from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty paper. I stamped the fabulous sentiment from the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set using Versamark ink, then embossed with Gold Emboss Powder. Once attached to the foil circle, the piece is popped on the front of the card using dimensionals, AFTER laying down a criss-cross of 1/8" Gold-trimmed Poppy Parade ribbon (yes, that is Poppy Parade, and it looks gorgeous with that paper!) first!! Then I added a few Real Red Rhinestones to finish it all off!
And putting a little extra effort into the inside of your card can create a stunning result!!
Now that's how you create a "stunning" card quick and easy! Using ready to go Stampin' Up! products! And one fabulous stamp set!!
I'm hoping for a little spooky fun this week!! How about you ? 👻👻👻
